Wera Koloss! My New Veto Bag Hammer!

Talk about one very cool tool! The Wera Koloss is extremely unique. I've enjoyed having it as my hammer that fits nicely in my veto bag D rings. The narrow design really helps it to not hit door frames and trim when carrying the bag. The rubber covers are so nice to have an immediate soft hammer to tap things into place.

Then there's a 1/2" ratchet there with a big breaker bar attachment that comes in handy especially for installing wedge anchors and similar fasteners in concrete.

@@MillisConstruction It's gonna live in the truck for now, I really like the breaker bar extension. My on-the-road tire change kit is not that good right now. Got my eye on the Dalluge 16oz hammer [thank you to Scott Brown carpentry] for my tool bag. Like you said, a lot of non-hammers get used for hammering :-) cheers ....

You’ve convinced me ! BTW , finally broke down and ordered a TPXXL . My 90 % hammer is still a 6 oz Crosspien , with a slightly sawn off handle , and a pair of Knipex pincers . I have others , but the crosspien gets most of the work . I must confess , I have a Stilletto Mini 14 .

The stiletto mini 14 and the stiletto black handle 10oz are my main two hammers. Hard to beat those! I just didn’t like how you’d hit door trims and things with the claws on them so this was a nice thing for the bags. My TP-XXL video is today. I got it a few days ago and I’ve switched over to it. Definitely a dramatic size difference from the TP-XL! Wow I was surprised how much bigger.

I believe it was designed to put up and take down scaffolding on the side of buildings. It can be used for whatever you want it for though.

Looks like a really cool hammer, would make for a terrible ratchet though, unless you truly have incredible space to work that head is enormous. I really like the extension though, most extendable ratchets are done with a rubbish detent design and they have way too much slop and flex.

It’s is made in Czech Republic. Wera is based in Germany and makes tools there as well as in the Czech Republic

i understand where you coming from. i dont have a channel. i just like browsing tool videos. its just that to me it be cool if ppl really shows how the tool works in kinda real life situation
