At one point in my life, I had chickens including an old rooster. That bird would crow, two, three and sometimes four times during the night. Deprived of sleep, I told myself that's it. I killed the rooster and cooked it. It was so tough, I could not eat it so I offred it to my dogs. It was so tough, they wouldn't eat it either. :-)

I'm glad you saved your dog but did you have to kill the rooster when you go to the store and buy a chicken maybe you need to put a fence up so their damn alligators will not get in your yard because this can happen again

I'm glad Loki was rescued from that gator. But _anyone_ in Fla, or any place with gators, needs to keep away from fresh water lakes and streams. I hear too often people walking their dogs down near a lake shore, only to have the dog snatched away by a hungry gator. What aren't these people understanding? (goes for swimmers, too)

This happened on his property, where the night before it was dry. Rain came and flooded the seasonal stream.

Of course it's sooo unfortunate this lovely little pooch ended up in the jaws of this gator... 😔 I would be devastated if it happened to my dog and why lie I'd hate that damn monster reptile too... But this is wild life, and going to get revenge on it won't solve anything. The reptile is looking out for its own survival as any other. ❤️BUT I'M so glad this dog was saved 💜 may both owner and pooch be well 💛

I would do the same thing, thank goodness your dog is okay :( but please, why do you now have to punish the animal after the fact for doing what is in its nature.

I have mixed feelings like u. I am glad Loki is fine and agree with others saying man is a hero for saving his beloved pup. I think he is doing it for the simple reason being, now this gator has the taste of pets and knows what 2 look for. If it isnt stopped now the next couple pets won't be so lucky like loki was or worse, kids could be walking the pet and the child could be taken instead of pet. To a hungry 13 ft gator they're isn't much difference between the two so long as the food source can be taken by suprise and drowned.
