I feel like this is not only a WL video, but also kind of a Lilah and Wes character study, which made it even more captivating. So glad you managed to accomplish over 4 minutes :)

Thanks!! A combined ship vid/character study isn't what I was going for to begin with but it did kind of turn out like that and I love it tbh! They seem so different at first glance but there's actually quite a lot of interesting parallels/similarities between these two characters, which is probably why they ended up working so well together.

I love this video. Wesley & Lilah was my favorite couple. They were dark but seemed to find happiness in each other. I hate that she died and Angel distorted their memories so it was like Wes and Lilah never happened.

Well, it did happen still, since Wesley mentioned to his "dad" in 5x7 that he had to chop off his last girlfriend's head after a Higher Being killed her, plus in 5x12 Cordelia apologized to Wesley for killing Lilah as Jasmine. I'm guessing it happened differently but did happen.

I always thought that was a stupid decision for the show he should’ve just erased the Connor Cordelia stuff not Connor altogether she should’ve just come back pregnant instead of getting with Connor originally anyway

MATTHEW MAYFIELD!! I love vidding him!! This song has so many covers, and I freaking love all of them. This one might be the darkest of all! I love that choice for this video. Wow I am still kind of speechless, even though I have had almost 24 hours to absorb it. But this is just such a powerful video! It just flows so well. It is really emotional and haunting! I really liked the part where you contrasted how initially it started out with Wes pushing her away after they slept together to a point where he doesn't want her to go. And is literally pulling her back for a kiss. I don't think you have ever done that particular contrast before, and it shows how their relationship really grew over time. Take note of that haters/people who claim it was only ever sex! And OMG I think my fave part (or one of them) Lilah laughingly asking Angel if he actually thinks he can awaken the decency in her combined with Wes doing just that. Holy hell that gives me so many feels! And the Cordy parallel! Wes and Lilah black and blue and crying alone in their apartments! It just shows they could understand one another. The "You didn't love me" with Lilah defending/protecting him from her boss! And again more parallels of them understanding that sometimes you have to make difficult decisions. OMG dude!!! Okay this might be my fave part actually. The black and white voice over! You showed LILAH doing the "GOOD" thing and WES doing the "EVIL" thing when normally it would be the other way around! You proved her point there too, because in neither situation was anything black and white. They were both working within the gray! Oh man...what a brilliant choice!! And then showing that even though he tries to be with a "good girl" it isn't going to erase the darker elements to his character! Gah this video is just so lovely and freaking complex as hell. I love it so much!!

Wow this video ;_; I used to watch your vids all the time like a decade ago under a previous username I've since locked myself out of. Been rewatching Angel and thought I'd search wesley lilah vids on YT to see what's out there now, was so pleased to see more videos from you! This one kinda broke me, it's so well done!

Damn it's been so long since i've seen one of your vids, but it was treat to find back your talent after all these years xD Lilah and Wesley was always a dark guilty pleasure of mine hehe ;)
