We wouldn't have today's marvel movies without Wesley Snipes. Not a lot of people know this but the first Blade movie saved Marvel from bankruptcy and became the first successful Marvel movie ever

Problem is, Mahershala Ali as Blade, isn't really "muscular like" and has no irl martial arts skills or talents, wesley snipes literally is born to play that role and has the skills, talent and acting for it, so idk if mcu's version of Blade will ever top this, let alone be R rated....

@@vistaxx blade 2 brought the action of 1 and turned it into a really creepy movie with a great story that vampires can climb the evolutionary chain. It was definitely the best in the series villain wise. Blade 3 was a terrible story and the whole movie was just poorly executed in my opinion. Plus you’ve got Ryan Reynolds dropping one liners throughout the movie which just made it worse.

This was a clear demonstration as to why Blade is greatest hybrid in fictional history. He was born half human, half vampire, he has all the strengths of vampires and no vampire weaknesses (except for the thirst) he truly has the best of both worlds.

In all of fictional history? I'm not sure I would go that far. The movie version is better than the comic version. He wasn't badass until Morbius bit him and activated his vampire side in the comics.

I gotta say what Wesley Snipes and Ron Pearlman brought to their characters was so fun to watch. I really enjoyed their characters back and forth throughout the film. One of my fave things about the second film.

Blade is the Black BATMAN!! That’s why I love them so much. Amazing fighters, detectives, unbelievable drive, cold, past trauma that makes them who they are now. Whistler is his Alfred of course!!

So you were probably right, and the guy was just speaking outta his ass. And I'm actually serious, I was there when they recorded that scene. A friend of mine, actually got me in with him, since he works in the flim movie industry & was the same day I met Wesley Snipes. I'll legit never forget that day, was such a laid back, humble, nice guy.

Reinhardt, directly after seeing Blade take out an entire squad of dudes (I counted 26), the last few of whom didn’t even manage to get blade to look at them, and directly before getting chopped in half: “That was cool. I got this handled, though.” I gotta say I admire the confidence.

If I were a daywalker (a half-vampire), I wouldn't refrain myself from drinking blood. There are 8,000,000,000 people in the world right now, and most are people who truly are doing nothing good to anyone and some are truly bad people. So I'd just go after them, and I'd leave good people alone. I wouldn't fight against my nature (it never goes down well) and, at the same time, I wouldn't hurt good people.
