Deudette! That made me realize., I havent been to a mall in 1,250 thousand years! Or at least since I was 45, whichever came first. I'm in my mid 60s now. I KNOW! I cant understand how I jumped from 45 to 65 overnight but it did. Its scary cause the old man that stares back at me from the mirror when I shave mocks me every stinking day. I hate that guy. Beware - when you get old - the Mirror Twin People get nasty! (Ahem) But yeah - I remember Malls. I liked them a lawt! 👍😎👍

Awesome! I live right by west ed and go there and circle it on my daily walks where it's cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

It's nice to see a mall that's still mall'n! Most malls around me are in pretty sad states.

I used to live in Edmonton, been in that mall numerous times. Brings back memories. I see you included a clip of the indoor rides. About 40 yrs ago there was a tragic accident on one of the rides. Some people fell to their desths. One of my nieces and a friend of hers were on the ride when it happened. Fortunately for them, apart from a very bad scare they were ok. Update. I just did a search here, the accident was in 86 There are some videos about the tragic ride accident here on youtube.

Oh wow, I did see they were taking the roller coaster down. I would assume that’s probably why.

@@NerdzRL I didn't know they were taking it down. It's probably because that ride is over 40 yrs old now. I'm been in Vancouver since Oct of 86 so I don't know what's going on there. I'm sure there's been a lot of changes over the yrs. I do have some good memories from there, meeting and interviewing Jay Leno and meeting Red Skelton. And believe it or not I was an extra in a movie filmed there. Are you still in Edmonton? Is this your first time there?

Also, I don't know if they still have this, but they used to have a submarine ride in the same area as the ship. If they still have that ride you might want to go on it.
