Nerdception P.S. did you shoot the thing on an iPhone and edited it in premiere on windows? If yes, that explains the overexposure. You need to manually change the gamma and shit under the "interpret footage". (I've switched to resolve so the terminology may be off)

I saw an account on tiktok that's just this woman documenting how everyone in her town keeps having to hide in their houses because the elk are too big and everywhere. I think I'll stick with the kangaroos we have.

If you come to Jasper in the winter, you will see bighorn sheep licking the salt off of the pavement instead of elk :) Even though I spent only one year in Jasper after spending my first 20 years around Toronto and the city, Jasper has permanently changed my appreciation and relationship with nature. I want to raise my kids there one day!

Speaking of Alberta Canada.., here is the Daveman Factoid of the day: They originally wanted to name it "AL". But a few prominent citizens took exception to the name and wanted to name it Berta after a wealthy landowner lady who died milking a moose. Al, was a town shoe salesman who was drunk half the time. Al and Berta had their own supporters - and things almost came to all-out war over the matter. But a group of three wise men from the east came and proposed uniting Al and Berta in the name of unity! And this suggestion after much debate was acceptable to both supporters of Al and Berta and twas from thenceforth known as Al-berta. This is so strange it could be a lie., and most likely is. I honestly made it up. I KNOW! It was (cough) so totally believable and everything!
