Did you see when CHANDERPAUL got hit on the head luckily he was wearing a helmet, or he would be the late CHANDERPAUL today, thank God he survived, Brian Lara wore a helmet, this is why SIR IVANHOE VIVIAN RICHARDS IS THE GOAT OF ALL BATSMEN ok, he never wore a helmet at any time during his career, even after he got hit in the head in Australia in 1976,....nuff said.

Lara and Chanderpaul wore a helmet all the time, the GOAT SIR IVANHOE VIVIAN RICHARDS AND SIR GARFIELD SOBERS did not wear a helmet at any time during their career, which is is the main reason I would put them at Richards 1 and SOBERS 2.

I have never seeing so many stupid people from the islands, that ever conversations about cricket. That because Viv Richard's didn't bat in any form of helmet, they are claiming to be the best batsman. That the world has seeing, when there are several batsmen who is a far better batsman than Viv Richard's. Never bat in any helmet and scored far more runs and centuries than, and facing the 4 wi fast bowlers. Sunil Gavakar of India 🇮🇳 batting against the wi 4 fast bowlers and never wears a helmet ,and scored several centuries against them. Sunil Gavakar was the first batsman in the world to scored 10,000 test and 34 test hundreds. So I don't really see all the excitement about Viv Richard's as the greatest batsman of all times, it is big insult to the real great batsmen them. According to the icc records of fast bowlers, it is only one fast bowler that Viv Richard's faced in the top 10 fast bowlers of all times. It is only Jeff Thomson from Australia and he ranked 5th out of the top fastest bowlers of all times. There was this little semi lunatic took me on, that I don't know what am saying. I told check with the ICC certified list of fast bowlers, I don't talk what I believes in. I talk from certified facts by the ICC organization, but the 5 top scorer in test for the wi team. Only Lara and Chanderpaul have a very big gap and, the rest of them is only a few hundreds apart .While they played far more matches than the rest of players, this guy should have put at least top 10 batsmen. Most bloggers used from 10 to 50 top batsmen and bowlers, because 5 is too marginalized. Also other bloggers them have a certain amount of runs that they started from, ok.

I remembered watching cricket in the 1960s, I never seeing nobody batting in helmet. Helmet only came in the late 1970s, I have never seeing Sobers, Khani,Butcher, Hunte, Nurse,just to mention a few of them. So why ever conversations some of those people is trying, to spoil a good topic. By talking nonsense about Viv Richard's didn't bat into no helmet, like hundreds of players before. Never batted into any form of helmet, people need to act and talk more civilized. Because as far as am concerned, batting in helmet and don't batting in one. Does not making you a great batsman, because Sobers was the first batsman to scored 8,000 runs in test cricket without a helmet.

Batsmanship is about scoring runs reguardless of helmet cap or broad hat its making runs consistantly that grade a batter so helmet or no lara and chanders were tops sobers was and will always sobers nothing changes that lot of other wi greats never wore helmet either

He also was the very first batsman in test cricket to scored over 10,000 runs with 34 hundreds. So I don't really see all the excitement about Viv Richard's, because I been watching playing cricket for combined islands in 1971.Because we are in the same age group, so it to make runs for your team. There are a lot of players who never wores a helmet or helmet and,make far more runs than Viv Richard's als facing faster bowlers than Viv Richard's. The 3 top runs scorer for the wi of all times, is Lara, Chanderpaul, also Gayle and. They are not far apart with runs, Lara leads everyone overall with centuries 53,Gayle 42 and Chanderpaul 41.It is mostly the islands guys was talking about it,everywhere they goes, it is the same kind of stupid arguments about Viv Richard's is the greatest batsman of all times.

The fastest most deadly fast bowlers were in the 80's,if Lara had Chanderpaul faced Denis Lillie and Jeff Thompson without a helmet, they would have been running all over the place or most likely getting hit.
