That was the Fabulous video lovely for me to say as I no longer live there but went to school there I hope the benches are all back it's such a special place in my memory must take a visit one day day the interesting to see when the new sea wall goes up

Tiny point of order on the benches, Nick - the benches won't be going back on the prom, but a replica of the plaques will be put on the new wall in the same place along the prom as originally. The people who 'own' the benches have been given the chance to suggest an alternative location for their bench. They will all be installed somewhere else. The design of the new flood wall incorporates a kind of a continuous 'bench' seating.

The Vloger looks like Graham Potter, former Brighton and Chelsea manager

The wall has been built in sections in Ireland or Northern Ireland. There's a photo online of one section somewhere. It has been or will be brought over here somehow. I believe the lifeboat is temporarily stationed in a sort of marquee at the north end of the lake - you can see that in your other film from 25th October. Rumours say that no one knows yet how it will eventually be launched through the gates that will have to be shut in bad weather. Residents on the prom must be praying there's no big winter storm while the work is unfinished. Please keep filming. If only you could fly the drone along at eye level!
