West Point najlepsza wojskowa uczelnia na Świecie. Piękne miejsce usytuowane obok ogromnej rzeki Hudson. Tradycja i technologia skrzyżowane razem. Wspaniała szkoła, wspaniałe miejsce.

I'm sure lots of these new offocers were thinking about doing their 5 and getting out. A lot of them probably changed their minds 3 years later.

i reently read an ariticle-i believe on: task and purpose. the topic, yes a "usual" media bite: discrimination at our military academy's. they spoke to incoming freshmen and others that were interested in the academy's to include West Point. To read statements that it is/was a racist institution pertaining to two buildings/halls being named after General Robert E. Lee. To reflect on the stringent/proper leaders that graduated in many echelon leadership levels (government/corporate) from 1865 say through 2010. Before the "law" to physically remove confederate statues and monuments that were present not to "glorify"; but to value and understand within an educated society/nations. How the 1000s of ethical/proper leaders that observed and lived on the military academy with these "confederate" statues present.and became strong, ethical leaders..how did this happen? Some studied these "other" Americans (Lee, etc) and the international and military strength we gained in those 150 years from their hardships, thoughts and actions as men of nation. but not; in 2020 our nation found the "wisdom" within a few years..to destroy history over 150 years old..not educate: but physically destroy history (monuments) in the same "cloak" of appeasement that has failed for years and will continue to fail. Substantial "actual" progress means nothing to many; what have "you" done for us today.; and then "we" will get with you tomorrow... I was fortunate to serve our nation as an advisor with the US military in Iraq (5X tours).

"West Point Documentary"? No. Squids, fly boys, jar heads and coasties." It wasn't about the Army, it was about military. Gen the caption right.

It's a totally different type of school. Harvard is a law school. This is a military academy.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Seriously, what corporation and/or business condones the culture that West Point promotes? USAA?

Yes, 'God Save the King/Queen', composed by John Bull. In this case, 'My country 'tis of thee' is a contrafactum composition.

I highly doubt a random teacher will spend 5 hours of their evening for the fellow cadets. Don't get me wrong, i think the school has some value but hopefully they study history with respect to weapons of mass destruction and teach how dangerous it is to "lead" an invasion of innocent (Iraq) countries.

Such a fine tradition. So much that they ostracized one of their own classmates for nothing more than the colour of his skin. His own fellow classmates lacked the guts to stand by one of their peers. Not a one stood by him. The very definition of reprehensible. Let me hear you explain this one away. Ahh, the good ole days.

Oh for chrissake. The country has evolved since the days when women couldn't vote, non-whites counted as less than one person, when non-whites were largely prohibited from serving in combat, when women were not permitted to serve on combatant ships,no women on submarines, etc, etc. Right or wrong, these were not divisions created by the military, but rather by the society as a whole. When I entered the Naval Academy - located in the Maryland State Capital - the drinking fountains and public rest rooms were still either "Colored" or "White" and my Class at the Academy was virtually exclusively white. No females, and virtually no non-whites. *s/ Retired 24 Year US Navy Submariner - USNA Class of 1965 - Former Enlisted Man*

@@SaltiDawg2008 Whether the military created these divisions or not, they most certainly went along with this one." Oh yeah, Mr. Davis, you can attend our academy, but we will not acknowledge you. " And that is what makes it reprehensible. You do not get it. These are supposed to be his brother cadets. You as an academy graduate should understand that better than anyone. But I am sure you will explain that one, Salti Dawg.
