If you come to Australia be prepared for long shifts because most wheat farmers farm 1,000 acres minimum or more. Most start in Queensland and work their way south. The northern wheat is a harder wheat whereas the sothern wheat is taller and softer. Big distances between paddocks out here big fella.

I would tell the wife where we would be when the food was coming. Helped save time when harvesting a half mile sprinkler on a 640 acre section. Cell phones are nice in West Texas

That is amazing to do 270 acres in a day , i am sure you can feel it in your bones too , going at that speed mush make it more enjoyable for you too and them long runs too , nice to watch

It hard for me to comprehend 1 machine getting 270 acres in a day. Best I ever done was 120 but that was with a JD 7720 and took a long day.

Must be satisfying to cut 200 plus acres a day , great work.The Wheat looked dwarf like, what variety is it . Apologies one further question, does any of the wheat straw get bailed .. Hope it stays fine and you can motor on with Tess, look forward to the drone shots
