Westbury Whippet IC Engine build - 30 years into 30 minutes

I had a similar problem. Spent ages and about 4 attempts to make a cam shaft for a 26cc twin. Having finally got the cams perfectly shaped I hardened it... bent like a banana, with 15 thou run-out in the middle, almost cried! After calming down I was able to hold it between centres on the lathe and bend it back to shape by pushing the middle with the cross slide. That has to be the best looking Whippet around, beautiful job, well done and thanks for sharing it with us.

I don't have any plan to at this stage, I'm back on the live steam project now
