Agreed, the legendary story cards are a lot better. Traveling trader is cool too. When we play you pay 40 to look at the top three legendary items and take one of course you can but the other two for forty more each. It just adds a minor amount of risk.

Excellent review Joey. I absolutely love Western Legends too. I have everything for it except Blood Money and was happy, but now I think I want the new story cards and the traveling trader. Those two things look great. Keep up the good work! I think you're doing an excellent job.

I like the legendary story cards but they don't trigger as often as I'd like because the requirements are a lot more specific.

I was so excited for the story cards but I can’t believe they chose to make Ante Up a requirement for this expansion. For me Ante Up just over complicates the game with so many stuff it adds. Sadly I won’t be getting this because of that.

Eduardo, my friends and I played two games with Blood Money and without Ante up. I think you only have to remove one card for the Traveling Trader and if you come across a legendary story card that mentions Ante up territory just discard it and got to the next story card. Pretty simple.

Great review! Can I use this one without Ante Up?

Hey, Henri! Sorry I'm just now seeing this. Yes you can. It does somewhat require Ante Up in set up, but you can remove a card from the travelling trader and if a story card mentions something in the ante up expansion, you can just skip it. Although I like parts of the Ante Up expansion, I'd put this one higher if I had to say which one is a must have.
