Great video !! Would like to learn how to make adjustments to the steering as my unit turns a lot quicker and harder to the right vs the left. Also, it’s more prevalent going in reverse.

I bought a 375 R last year based on your great reviews. It cuts nice but not having a fuel gauge is inconvenient,and the fuel filler hole is half the size of my old lt133 which makes it more difficult to fill. I also am surprised that the JD engineers placed the cupholder directly in line with the exhaust. I know I'm nitpicking but JD products should improve over the years. It is a nice machine other than that. Thanks for the reviews!

I got a John Deere SRX75 with the Kawasaki 9hp running for many years. They are just build like tanks. After every winter it starts right up and doesn't skip a beat. If i ever buy another lawn mower it will be a John Deere with a Kawasaki engine.

This video convinced me to get this mower model. Thank you. I am very pleased with this mower at this time. Although I can get the OEM blades (UC25185), I am curious if there are alternative blades that I can use for the Z365R (like Oregon or other vendors, purpose build mulching blades). Please share with us what you know. Thank you for all that you do.

Thanks for the great info. My storage opening is 54” and would like to use a bagger. The JD chute will most likely be too wide. Do you have an opinion on using something similar to the Accelerator grass catcher on the Z365 with the 48” deck. This style may be easier to remove and replace each time I mow (twice weekly). I have a 365r with 60 hrs on it. I have done the easy oil change at 50. I am contemplating using the conversion kit back to normal oil changes. How will the life of the engine be affected one way or the other? What would you do it if it your mower and you hope to have it 10 years?

In my opinion the longevity and durability are equal as long as they are taken care of. I would go with the Z365R for the matter of reducing cutting time for the 1.5 acres. Good question and keep them coming haha! Also, thanks for watching!

Great video as usual. Few questions: 1) The baffles under the deck seem to isolate the blade on the side opposite of the discharge. When you switch the mulch lever to open the discharge, how does the grass from this isolated blade make it out of the discharge chute? 2) Also, the washout port is located on that side as well...how does it clean the entire deck when that blade seems to be isolated by a non moving baffle? 3) Lastly, is there a dual bagging kit for this mower (p/n please!) or does the mulch kit make it impossible to add one to this mower? These are HUGE points of interest that potential buyers should be aware of, right???

These are all good questions. 1. The clippings from the farm side will not make it to the discharge, there for one blade will always be mulching. 2. The washout port is going to be somewhat ineffective on this mower and i thing this is something that John Deere is looking into. 3. There is no bagging kits for the 48" deck or the 54" deck in the Z300 series because these sizes of deck would require a blower and these mowers are not strong enough to carry one. I hope this helps!

I have z365r john deer zero turn mover. I want to change engine oil but I couldn’t find the outlet. I guess it was under bottom of oil check yellow color stick and it is a bolt and I try to open it but it’s very hard to open it. Can you give me some ideas?

Basically the 400 series is just a more commercial grade unit. carries more weight and allows a higher top speed. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!

When using the wash port after every use (says to wash after every use in manual) would you keep the mulch door open or closed? If you can't keep the mower in a garage or shed, what theft deterrent would you suggest? I was thinking of a motion alarm. I've seen some wheel clamps for golf carts but not sure it would work for the mower as I've heard you could easily just use a pry bar to take it off. Thx for you video. Did you test this mower for how fast it mows an acre?

I would do it both ways, door open and shut. As far as theft deterrent, I think a motion sensor would be good or if you have a good spot to chain it to that may be a good option as well. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!

How easy is it to remove the deck for cleaning. Can the mulch attachment be removed and re installed.

The deck is fairly easy to remove. The most frustrating part is removing and reinstalling the belts. And yes, the mulch kit can be removed and reinstalled. Good questions and thanks for watching!

I feel you on this one brother! So I am most comfortable on the riders once I get up into the X500's and when it comes to the zero turn mowers I would say go with the Z700's. If these aren't in the price range you are looking then let me know and we will try another route.

You could probably rig one up but you would have to remove the mulch control kit that come on the deck from the factory. I would have to look further into this to know exactly which kit you would need. Let me know if you would like more info. Thanks for watching!

Does the throttle limit the max speed when the levers are fully pressed forward? If so, is it safe to do so? I would likely add a hitch and tow an aerator and would want to aerate at a slower speed without having to manually limit the speed with the levers.

Yes it will limit your max speed. And since you won't be mowing while you are aerating, it is totally safe to do this. Good question and thanks for watching!

I always suggest engaging the PTO at about help throttle, then go up into full throttle when cutting. And yes if you throttle down it will affect the blade speed.

I talk about the transaxles releases at 16:21 in this video and there is one on each side that you with have to move up and into the little hook position and the release your parking break which will allow you to push or move the mower manually. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!

You can use either 100% gas or the 10% ethanol but I would not put any high octane fuel in it.

@@flatstheflounder9874 I've got nothing against the newer craftsman mowers,own an 8 year old cub cadet myself. It's TRUE that all manufacturers cut corners here and there,most john deere mowers get pretty good reviews. My old cub cadet was built by mtd and it's been reliable enough. It's got the single cylinder Kohler courage that gets a bad,but mine has been great. I wish I had an electric pto,but otherwise cant complain
