Sad to think the majority of people around who live in that area nowadays couldn't give a f*ck. In 1980 we were having street parties. And everyone seemed to be excited.

Mate your right.back in the 70s 80s you would see 10 times as many people and loads of street parties too! But with the changes in the area the majority of west hams fan base is outside East london into Essex and kent. Coyi

Yeah, I thought that too. There were leaked images of the buses _before_ the bloody match! They already had them decked out and ready to go! Seemed a bit presumptuous of them and I was a bit worried they were tempting fate! Luckily it didn't backfire on us, but still.... Would've thought they'd at least let the team have a night or two in Prague, let it sink it a bit, for them _and_ the fans, then have a victory parade in a few days or a weeks time. Doing it _THE FOLLOWING DAY_ almost feels like they're trying to rush it and get it out of the way as quick as possible lol. FFS, let us soak it in for a bit first lol

Can’t get my head round the fact that Wet Sham are celebrating winning the European equivalent of The Leyland Daf Trophy with such euphoria….a truly Mickey Mouse competition of the teams finishing 7th yes 7th in some pretty pathetic leagues ….I admit as a Birmingham City fan it’s great to see your club win something…we were the same after winning Leyland Daf at Wembley in 91…but the mad over reaction to this is ridiculous
