Hello everybody :-) Thank you very much for visiting my channel and choosing to watch my video. “A Price Worth Paying” is a personal philosophy of mine about bereavement that discusses how my outlook on life has changed in many different ways since my Father passed away in 2016. I decided that as I often write about my struggles with grief and the sadness it brings me, regularly highlighting that which pulls me down and robs me of my hope, this time I would express my thoughts about how the darkness has helped shine a spotlight on what’s important to me. To share with you the various lessons bereavement has taught me that I am using to help improve the quality of my life, especially in regards to the loved ones I still have with me.
Naturally I do understand that not everyone is in my position. I am mindful to the fact that not everyone has friends or family to turn to in their bereavement. People who are sadly left facing their grief alone. But of course I can only write about my own experiences for it is all that I can claim to know and understand. Just know that my heart goes out to you, as well as my hope that by encouraging such open discussions about bereavement here on my channel we may be able to create some empathy and maybe even some connections among ourselves, sharing our experiences together.
Personally I believe that our loved ones who have passed from our lives rely on us to tell others of their spirit and their history. To let the world known who they were and what they still mean to us. You each have a story of a person who was so very important, who you love dearly even though they are gone and who mattered very much indeed, so don’t be afraid to tell us all about them...
