I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

Clinique has a tubing mascara in black and brown (lash power). It’s a lengthening mascara with a thin wand. Finish is natural but buildable. It’s worth trying, the brown shade is perfect and the price point also good. And good for sensitive eyes.

I’m low-key jealous of your naturally-curly lashes, Charlotte! Love the brown mascara on you. For me personally it’s too $$ but then again I can’t get into luxury makeup at all. I don’t really care about packaging, only product quality (a rare bird, I know!)

I have this in my basket for the Sephora sale starting next Friday. I know you hate "Too Faced Better than sX" but I actually loved that in the brown, but it did dry out quickly, so I'll give this one a try. I think it looks beautiful.

Interesting shade of brown! How does it compare to the YSL brown and/or my default Dior Brown (neither of which are easy to find - or budget-friendly, but they are BROWN!) Thanks for the review. Now off to find it here in the UK...

The little bit of fallout on your lid is the reason I stopped using their first mascara. It really transferred terribly. So I am a little bit worried about that. Otherwise it looks divine! Loved the effect you used at around 12:36! That was so cool!

My favorite brown mascara is the (yikes) Sisley So Volume so $45 seems almost like a bargain. 🙂

For me, Sisley lasts longer. WA mascara dries out within a month. The color looks lovely on you, Charlotte

For me the best brown mascara is the Green People one! Not very expensive but it gives a very beautiful natural effect ❤ I love the luxurious feel of Westman Atelier cosmetics so I might have try this one ❤

I don’t like brown mascara for me and I don’t like to use oil cleanser. I have tried Hermes mascara (black but they have brown) in store and I love it. Also I removed Hermes mascara only with lukewarm water, so their claim is true. It is very expensive but beautiful and very good, so Hermes mascara will be my next one to buy. And their new eyeshadows are gorgeous. I bought 06 and I’m in love.😍 From WA I just like the packaging . In my opinion it’s a very expensive brand for the quality they offer. This mascara looks good on you but you already have very nice lashes due to the good genes and the lash serum you use. Thanks for sharing!

I think that color of mascara looks really pretty on you. It compliments your eyebrow color nicely. I wasn't planning to pick up this mascara, but after your review I think I'll give it a try. If you had reviewed it in black, I wouldn't be as interested.

I really really like this mascara on you but unfortunately for me, I don't think brown mascaras work because I'm brown with black lashes - so brown looks weird on me. My version of brown mascara (or more natural looking or toned down) is Victoria Beckham's Future Lash mascara. I really really really like the look it creates with fanned out and lengthy eyeslashes, it comes off easily (it is a tubing mascara) and the bottle is just luxurious to look at and hold. If you've not tried it, I highly recommend it

She certainly has my attention. But I need to hear it’s still going well, 3 weeks from now, like you mentioned. I don’t wear mascara daily, and I’d be upset if it dried out from one use to the next.

I’m not sure if you’ve already tried it but I would really recommend the sculpted by Aimee brown mascara. I use the brown and black mascaras that she does and they are my go to mascaras. Definitely my favourite mascaras. Lovely volume and length. The brown is a lovely colour. 😊

Love my brown tubing mascara from Thrive. I can’t stand the effort required to remove waterproof mascara….and I do not enjoy raccoon eyes…so THRIVE IT IS!❤❤❤😊

I love this mascara, I’ve had no flaking like the other WA mascara. Just the right amount of product comes out on applicator. I’ve been using for several weeks and haven’t seen any difference in application since I first started using it. I can use on my bottom lashes which I can’t do with black mascara.

I love a good brown mascara-I’m fair-skinned, and black mascara as an everyday look is too much for me. This price makes me want to cry, though. I’d be more willing to try it if I knew the component was refillable; that way if it turns into a holy grail for me, the refills would be less expensive. I do love how the tube looks, and that shade of brown is awesome, too! Thanks for showing this to us!

Thanks for mentioning the smell. It is sadly too much for me and I cannot wear it. The packaging is so cute though lol. I liked her other mascara, which had no smell.

I'm also in search of a good brown mascara since they discontinued Clinique's Naturally Glossy. I use Clinique's brown High Impact, but I'm after the more natural look that Naturally Glossy had, which looks like you just dyed your lashes. I'm really only using mascara for colour, as my eyelashes are white-blonde. I've tried some brown Korean mascaras, which don't add bulk, but their browns always have so much red in them, I feel like it almost makes me look like my eyes are bleeding. Maybe it doesn't do that to people who already have dark lashes. I'm hoping to try the Lancome Definicils in brown soon, and the 19/99 lash tint mascara. I might have to add the Westman Atelier to the list if I can get a sale - it's $60 CAD! That's ridiculous.

Brown mascaras are the best for day wear, eye lashes look defined but more natural. I love any of the Lancôme ones and also Talika Liposils Mascara. Thank you for trying this one for us 😊

I once read that out of all makeup, mascara was the one thing you don't need to spend a fortune on; and that drugstore versions are pretty good. In my experience I would agree with that, although it's never stopped me trying luxury brands too :D At the moment I'm just finishing off my Jones Road black mascara which I really like, but once I finish that I have just bought the black-brown Clinique mascara in a swishty green metallic tube! The tester in store swatched pretty brown to my eye, so I'm looking forward to trying it out. Cost around £19.

You have such incredible lashes that most mascaras look great.For us lash mortals,I think this is massively overpriced as are most of WA products.

Interesting that the handle part of the wand is so short. I’m not sure I’d do well applying mascara with it-too much like a mini-size. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I know it’s kind of the opposite of a luxury brand, but I’m told that Tower 28 just released a brown mascara. I think I saw in a different video that you weren’t a fan of the components (they really do look kind of like play makeup, don’t they?), but the product is supposed to be incredible. I’m a pretty dedicated Lancôme mascara girl, but I have been thinking about trying it.

Thank you Charlotte for this review. I will NOT be buying a $45 mascara that needs to be replaced every 3 months. You were blessed with great lashes with GREAT curl. For people with straight lashes, this is money thrown in the trash. And the marketing term of "CLEAN" cosmetics I'm not buying plus they don't last long. Love your videos!!

GW, the person, seems so blah to me. There’s just nothing about her that makes me want to use her products when I can get something like Hourglass for the same price, or Tom Ford for a little more.
