Evan is very outspoken and passionate about her politics and her past as an abuse survivor . Which is great IMO. But turns some people off. Kinda silly.

Because women of color barely get opportunities and it’s okay if one gets recurring roles while countless non women of color get opportunities and casted for roles over and over and over again.... since forever.

@Alice Resi Those are tentative plans. The show has shed 67% of viewers. It's under a million. Now, GoT was at 16 million in overnight views... So, with how expensive this show is and how few people are watching it, I think you can surmise that this is the last season. Joy and Nolan came to HBO with a 5 season plan. The episode order is even shorter for this season. It's too costly. I'm sure of few things in this world, but tv cancellations is not one of them. It's a goner, and thank God. It had one good season and it has been a dumpster fire ever since. It deserves to die.

@Alice Resi The ratings haven't improved much, even with captive viewers due to Covid-19. You can bet that HBO are doing some soul searching. It was meant to be a blockbuster, but it is much more niche. Expect a cancellation at the end of the season, or perhaps a tv movie to tie it all up. Either way, it's cooked.

@@sayvonhaynes What I didn't know is that HBO stupidly paid Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy for the entire series. Season 4 is what we call a cancelled season. It will be fewer episodes and it will end the series. So, I'm right and wrong. Season 4 is a contractual and financial obligation. After that, it's done. Westworld season 4 won't be out until 2023 and no one will give a fuck about it at that point. It's a terrible show. Season 3 looked interesting from the promos, but they blew it. They had one good season. As a fan of the film, the degradation of the franchise is very sad. It sucks. It's hollow and most importantly... The show is boring.

@@sayvonhaynes No one knew until the season 4 confirmation that HBO had paid Joy and Nolan upfront back when the show was just starting. How could I know that despite Westworld's failure, HBO had already paid for a season 4? No one knew that.

Gross misinterpretation and biased comment. First, she never said she was "okay" with him dying (that's your distorted spin) and second, she NEVER said anything negative about his daughter.
