The fastest land animal is indeed the cheetah. However, it's only the 14th fastest animal on earth so Noah was completely right with both statements. Made me so mad that the game got it wrong.

It still wouldn't reach the speeds of a falcon. A cheetah's body shape isn't that ideal to be going 200+ mph speeds no matter the position/rotation/pose. A falcon is shaped roughly like a thin & wide square pyramid when posed to dive the fastest. A cheetah at best is roughly pill or trapezoidal pyramidal shaped when trying to dive the fastest. Simply put, thinner points>rounded surfaces in the air.

So let's take gravity out of the situation, since apparently only the falcon is using gravity to it's advantage, now when the cheetah goes to move without gravity what'll happen? It will float the fuck away, the cheetah is more dependent on gravity then any type of bird

As a type one diabetic i can say that Type one is unknown to the cause of it so there is more to it then genetic deficiencies But yes its a disease Obesity can cause type two diabetes which isn't genetic I don't know what to say about obesity as a disease

Reaper Wolf Not really, the falcon is only faster when it is diving, which is basically falling, throw a cheetah out of plane and see if it doesn't go as fast as a falcon. But as far as running speed and stuff, a cheetah is much faster, even if the falcon is flying.

Paul_o flb But a falcon is meant for diving, and it knows that it will live afterward. If you throw a cheetah off a plane then it will die, meaning that's not really the regular speed of it. Therefore, a falcon is faster.

Riverius Kenadia It doesn't matter if it's meant for diving, it shouldn't count because it's just falling and stopping before hitting the ground. So to see which is faster you need to see the speed that the animal can reach with its own physical effort. Just sayin.

A dive isn't flying, it is falling. While they have amazing accuracy in their controlled fall, a Falcon isn't doing anything to move that fast beyond letting Gravity work when it dives.

I was going to argue with you because I'm pissed off that people seem not to understand air resistance, but I looked it up and a human might be the fastest animal. Someone went 120,000 feet into the air where the air resistance is much less and they were able to achieve speeds faster than the speed of sound.
