You dunno how blessed I was this morning to stumble upon your video. I see artists with fancy complicated pictures doing this first wash second wash but such complex pictures and I often go.....gosh would Somone just do it with a simple potato and here I found your video on s single flower. what a really good explanation you do I have looked at lots of how to's that don't really teach enough or are just too fast to follow - I have managed to draw the outline and I am following your demonstration- this a real how to x thankyou so much I am so glad I searched long enough to find you. I'd love to see a painting like this with three or more flower-colored "wet daubs" to suggest a field of flowers behind the focal subject. Very impressive result, Rachel!

Too much editing made this impossible to watch. Do we really need to see her dipping her brush in the water over and over. It would be better to see the image develop by keeping the camera on the painting.
