I found this shoe yesterday on Amazon. They are very similar to the New Balance Minimus, which is wonderful shoe. I have worn them for up to a 50K run, and I have worn them often for turkey hunting in the spring. Thanks for the review; I think I will try these.

Thanks for the review! Random question: regarding the loop at the back (3:00), couldn't you just tuck it into the elastic band right under it?

Question: are these shoes made with non absorbing material? Bought Whitin barefoot shoes from Amazon, and one I get into a puddle or rain, they are made with super absorbent material and won't dry for at least 2 days. I need outdoor shoes that are not absorbent and dry quickly. What happens when your shoes get wet?

The tops are almost like foam. They do absorb water but mine dry fairly quickly.

How well have the soles last for you now? I looking into getting my first pair of barefoot shoes and I'm walking on either gravel backroads, or regular paved roads and there can be plenty of trash like broken glass and other sharp debris around and I want to make sure these soles won't wear out too quickly and are pretty durable.

Thanks for watching. They have held up surprisingly well for the price. I am still wearing them and they are only showing minimal wear. I have had regular tennis shoes wear faster than these.
