This might be the only surviving original video tape footage from the '73 Lakers vs Bulls WCC game 7. It's great to finally get to see it, since the game was blacked out in LA. I still remember listening to Chick call this game on the radio.

7:30 May 6, 1973. Parts of good brawl between the Cubs & Giants. this is the 2nd brawl of the inning. Brawls like this used to happen all the time but video such as this is long gone. glad this one at least saw the light of day. note the umps used to stand to the side & just watch.

Great to see the final minute or so of Game 7 of the 1973 series between Los Angeles and Chicago! Clutch blocks by Chamberlain. Also, interesting to see that "Mr. Clutch" Jerry West missed a couple of big free throws late- but made a steal and Chamberlain saved the series!!

The day after this game, a friend told me "...your lucky.... your guy Wilt saved the Lakers last night cause with seconds left he blocked a shot, recovered it and flipped the ball down court to Goodrich for the basket..." Never saw this until today and now I don't have to stick to MY imagination of how the play happened and actually looked .... Thanks for the video...

14:45 - Longines branded countdown on top from the then-owners of All American Scoreboards, the scores and other numbers from Time-O-Matic. Apparently at Soldier Field for years.

To think back then, the Bulls & Blackhawks came close to winning their respective championships. Guess we had to wait 20+ years for the Bulls & 40+ years for the Blackhawks. Also, 2016 was the greatest year for Chicago Cubs fans.
