Unfortunately that means that the insulation normally is also as bad as the old brick houses which results in high gas bills. As a foreigner I don't get why they still build houses like this. It is cheap to build like this yes but also not fair to the one who buys it... You pay so much Gas & Electric because the houses in UK can't keep warmth as they are built poorly insulated... If you buy a new home then at least with cement mortar how everybody else in Europe...

Both beautiful properties but you would be completely on show to half of the neighbourhood at virtually all times. There is not one single secluded outdoor area (in either property) so you would also be in full view of the whole area when relaxing outside in the better weather we occasionally have here in England. I think the vendors will be lucky to achieve the asking price. For that amount I definitely wouldn't commit to such a public space.

There's a lot to like in this house. I like that it has a study and the fact that everything is so clean and new and no one has ever lived in it before you. It looks light and spacious and quite characterful. Also plenty of storage and worksurface in the kitchen. Sometimes they look big but when you think you're going to put a kettle and a toaster on it, maybe a knife block etc, there's never enough space left over. Also, big fridge and freezer. I'd actually have the top floor as the main bedroom, as I loved that extra space.

A decent area of Solihull and the property looks to have a good finish. The 2 areas which were underwhelming for a house with a 1.5 Mill price tag is the skinny staircase and the small garden. If spending that kind of money I'd definitely look around the bottom end of Warwick Road, Park Avenue, or Manor Road kind of area, for much larger and established gardens, in better locations. The compromise being you'd probably lose out on the modern finish.

@@itskeke-wk8ng They generally have more land / square feet, light and accessibility or scope for extension. Plus you only have neighbours on one side, so you have far less noise constraints.

I am in a corner house in Kent.bought it fot £17000 in 77. YES more land area in a corner house.Have added a conservatory a extra dining room and a double garage and double width driveway. Not easy doing that in a house in a line of houses.

New subscriber here ☺️ Thankyou for the house tour but more importantly for the tour of the area which is really important when buying such an expensive property . Loved the tour of the back of the shopping centre lol that's the sort of thing I do when I am in a new area and get really lost ! Looking forward to catching up with more of your tours 😄

The first house is by far my favorite from all of your posts/videos. Of course that is subjective and personal. All the rooms are a great size and come with their own hidden personal me time rooms. How great is that! Can tell a women designed this layout. For the area and UK in general, I think it is priced pretty close to where it should be.

Matt & Summer .... I love this particular Property Developer's workmanship and style. Is it possible to find out where else in England they have New Developments, and maybe do an entire Series on this Developer's New Builds or existing renovated properties? Would love to see those! Many thanks 😘😁

Londoner here. I don’t care if am that close to a neighbour what I care about is how much space there are in the rooms, the parking space , number of bathrooms and garden! Absolutely lovely interior design and house in general!

Absolutely crazy money for box with postage stamp of a garden. Even my old garden was bigger. I know the area very well. I used to live in Hall green, Birmingham. Literally a spit away from here. Also a spit away (less than 5 miles) from some of the roughest council estates in Birmingham, along with the crime. I sold my house & moved to Ireland. Got a 4 bed farmhouse property with a acre for €95,000.

Both are absolutely stunning, but I prefer the second house, only because of the garden and you are not right next to the side road. Could you do my surrounding areas, Blackheath?, Eltham, Lee Green and Bromley. 👍🏻 A big thumbs up from me. 👍🏻
