This is my must culinary list whenever I go to Bali : 1. Seafood in Jimbaran (eat here while you enjoying the sunset is the best!) 2. Pork Grill or Babi Guling Pak Malen in Badung 3. DONT MISSED THE GUSTO GELATO in Kuta. It’s a must!! Hahahha 4. The Balinese chicken or Ayam Betutu in Badung area.

Wish i could experience your treatment while you’re in Indonesia… but if you’re jailed and have to extend your stay, please visit Jakarta 😅 Ooh for Bali you can try Warung Made, and for more local eatery can try Warung Wardani Bali Jl Yudistira no 2, Denpasar Bali. This one is lighter in taste, not using too much distinctive Bali spices and herbs.

Besides Jimbaran beach, I would suggest to go to Kelan beach for seafood. You might also wanna try a restaurant called Bebek Tepi Sawah in Ubud area.

I went to Bali 6-7 times with my young family in the 2010s, but we haven’t been back since about 2017. We used to enjoy eating Tex-Mex at a small local chain called Casa Taco, and Italian at another small chain called Trattoria. There were also good high end European seafood (Sardine) and upscale restaurants in Seminyak, like Methis. I don’t know if all of these places survived COVID. We also used to enjoy Nasi goreng at local warongs. The quality of food and coffee shops is generally high. We mostly ate in Canggu and Seminyak, and typically had lunch at resorts like The Legian, Four Seasons Ubud, Bulgari at Uluwatu etc., and also liked the Asian fusion food at beach club Ku De Ta in Seminyak. I raise cattle for a living, 6'4" 265lbs, and in a Airborne Infantry unit for National Guard. Last two chiropractors I went to couldn't get a single crack or pop, I often thought about just letting the 1400lb cow hit me and maybe that would do it. This guy would have the time of his life with me or resort to drugs and alcohol.

Lol we are all the same people. But he’s obviously part white not 100% indigenous Nusantra. Malay and Indos all came from the Philippines, the ground zero of Austronesian expansion into the Pacific and as far as Madagascar Africa, before back migrating back into the Philippines (Central). My pre colonial ancestors migrated from Borneo. Got same issues as him, just way more severe due to working injuries as a hairdresser and MUA… and the infamous smartphone. We don’t have chiropractors like him who does this type of work here in Norway tho. SAD! Bali is also the only place in Indonesia that isn’t Muslim, but Hindu/Buddhist.
