Much of the public doesn't want to hear this. They are on the drug and want to benefit from it despite side effects, in some income brackets it's fashionable to say that you or your children have these "disorders" that require treatment, your prescriber wants long term patients to support their lifestyle, the drug company wants long term demand to ensure cash flow and print and broadcast media outlets enjoy the big bucks they get for advertising.

I found the Ashton Manual online. My psychiatrist wouldn't help me ween off but would prescribe smaller size pills. I did a DIY water titration method. It worked. I did it extremely slowly.

I am 13 years off a Klonopin cold turkey and still sick. I reinstated onto valium when I was 4.5 months out and had a horrible lasting reaction. Still dealing with this, but I am semi functional at this point. Hoping healing for all ❤

A VA doc took me off of a pain med and a benzo at the same time because I reported use of CBD products. That was a fun several months.

Is detox with phenobarbital for Ativan safe? It was recommended to me by dr, 2 weeks of phenobarbital and gaba , I m scared , I was taking it for 8 months nightly, and Ativan gives me bad side effects, very desperate to came off of it , help ?

How do you taper off of alprazolam 4mgs? I was prescribed in my early 20s. I was prescribed as high as 8mg. I came down on my own to 4mg. I don't know if my doctor even knows how taper me off. Been taking them for over 20 years. Trying to get down to 3mg. Ive heard all of the horrible stories. I want to get off, but feel trapped.
