I was first VIP and now ARMY as well. Taeyang was actually Jimin's greatest and number one inspiration. He was a member of Big Bang, revolutionary to Kpop. Suga states himself that you could even go as far as to say that Big Bang created BTS solely from the inspiration they gave them. It was Teddy Park (Blackpink's producer) who suggested 2 yrs ago that Taeyang should do a collab with Jimin. I also feel like it says a lot about Taeyang that he not only "featured" Jimin in his solo song, but he gave him equal parts showcasing Jimin's beautiful voice. Shows humility, respect to Jimin, and confidence in himself imo. Taeyang's singing and voice is highly respected and loved by BTS members, esp Jimin. So in light of this, it makes me respect Taeyang all the more. It's purely about the music and delegating who sounds best for what part. Plus, imagine how ecstatic Jimin is to be hyped up by his greatest inspiration!!! Both are absolute legends.
