When this song first came out, I didn’t realize how important and powerful this message really is. Now that I listened to it again, it means more to me than it ever has before. Girls are so much more than just their looks, and NO ONE should EVER feel judged or objectified due to their looks.

I remember being 12 years old and listening to this song and vibing to it. Then I made a research about Christina and found out that she had passed away. It was devastating to lose her before really being able to appreciate her… May she Rest In Peace

This song is an amazing message for teen girls who are being bullied, body shamed, or are in a toxic relationship. As someone who has been in all of these situations this song has really helped me to realize that I am who I am and if someone doesn't like it they can just suck it up and get over it, I am not going to change my self just to make them happy.
