@@The_Regular_Player The sport is being headed by failed nations thats why. If there were more top ranked playes from US, China or other huge countries maybe it would get a stronger push.

Incredible determination and grit from Joel Makin. He was put under a ton of pressure but he managed to get the win. Well played

Dreadful crowd. Two absolute top tier players, but because neither is Egyptian, nobody goes. It’s clear Egyptians are not squash fans, otherwise they’d be there

Coll needs a course correction. Predictable game, same pace and no attacking shots...What a drop in performance since he lost to Shorbaghy in World Semis. Not sure if he has, but guess he needs a new coach to perk up his game.

Coll was up and seemed to have opportunity. Well done Makin for closing it out. Wonder why the Asal highlights is for premium subscription only PSA? Hiding the shame of PSA or being money grubs?

Think it's the first one Mark or maybe even both. I do not see many people around here that like seeing the he who shall not be named play. Seeing him play may fill too many with abhorrence and turn their back on the PSA.

By scoring on cross volleys, Makin becomes incredibly effective.

First 😊 Makin playing more positively when presented with volley opportunities and putting the cross volley into the nick and pulling it off. I think that was the difference.

Absolutely spot on! Coll took too long to attack the front and telegraphed when he would a drop in whereas Makin just went for it. Coll needs to take it in quicker and just be a bit more positive. His games needs to keep evolving as he gets older.

So you think Makin's squash is more exciting? Or you just like watching undisciplined squash? A year ago everyone though Shorbagy and Gawad were done. Look what happened in a span of a few months. Coll just needs to find the enjoyment and hunger to push himself back up.

@@Orbituation Absolutely, but his gone back to his natural game of just consistency. He needs to learn to kill a ball and use his wrist for deception. Old school attritional squash is no more. Love to see him back up there, he deserves it.
