Awesome saw man. That's a perfect saw for a homeowner or someone starting their business who wants to step it up with the tools later on. I was just thinking you could buy three of these saws it would still be cheaper than buying one of the top name brands and I seriously think if you destroyed one after the other they would last way longer and be way cheaper even if you bought two saws for parts if one broke down you are still laughing the hole saw is cheaper to buy .than it would be to fix 1 Stihl chainsaw.

I have just purchased the very same saw but, it’s called a Perla Barb. I have used it three times now on various sized firewood and it actually works very well, I’m impressed with it. I have to use 25:1 fuel ratio as stated by the manufacturer not 40:1 Iike yours. I own two Sthil chainsaws and love them but this other saw really comes out to be a ripper of a saw, I love it. Good luck with yours. P.S. mine came with the paper air filter which is much better but no decompression valve.

i have the same saw in a 52cc version , Here in Chile is sold by trademark CASTOR, is a great saw, incredible reliable.
@cristichirtan34583 жыл бұрын
That saw doesnt have 62cc... Its most probably 58cc because The 62cc has over 4 HP and The 58cc has 3.5hp maximum, even The cilinder and The chasis looks different at The 62cc chainsaws.

14:47 How come the 20" saws all use .058" gauge chain? The darn stuff is expensive as heck and hard to find. Why not .050" or .063", which both seem much more common?

Ive measured the stroke and bore on my 62cc saw, and the stroke is 34mm. The piston size measured 48mm. When you do the math to calculate cubic centimeters, it comes out to 61.525cc, . Some saws are falsely advertised and some are not, you literally have to measure the stroke and bore to determine the actual cc of the saw you have.

I'm a fan of both Sthil and Husqvarna. They make an affordable chainsaw. If you want a professional chainsaw sure, you'll pay more for more cc's. You want a saw that best suits the job, not the biggest for the average homeowner. The Poulan Pro PR5020 is a great homeowner version of the Husky 450. I don't care what people say as long as you maintain your saws, you'll have no problem. I have the Sthil MS 170 and 251C as well. All three meet my needs, are suitable in size and don't break the bank.

Yeah I bought a Chinese chainsaw is an X bull CS 6200 series and it's very similar to what you got and I've noticed all mine the air cleaner it's not very clean / say it needs a pre cleaner small bits I would get down in that carburetor and mine anyhow there are upgrades even if they're homemade you may have to play with mixture a little bit but I think that would extend the life of it as well

Was little surprised it was plastic and not magnesium casing. I Like that it has an adjustable oiler. I know the chain says pro, but does it have the safety / kickback links? Looks like a similar setup as a jjonsered or husqvarna with the outboard clutch. Get a lot of features in the price point of this saw.

Life in Farmland Can't tell from this video if it is safety chain. If it was safety chain, I'd ross it and get regular saw chain. Are you looking at getting this pro-grade chainsaw? I have the TimberPro top-handle chainsaw. Works really good for what it is, just gotta be careful and not tug on the handle if the bar pinches in a cut.

Calling that a professional saw is about the same as Harbor Freight calling their tools professional. I'm sure it will work for a little while but it will never hold up to real use. Have you ever actually owned a real professional saw?
@gollihughj7 жыл бұрын
BLachance75 have you ever owned it used a Timberpro? I've owned both, and I have to put my money on the Timberpro. Durability and cost. These saws are far less expensive than the Stihls or Huskies I've owned and have been just as dependable with proper maintenance.

BLachance75 I do own a professional saw. It's the one in the video. :) I've seen professionals use harbor freight tools many times. My last timberpro I have about 35 hours on it and I've put around 7 gallons of gas thru it chainsaw milling. So I have put it thru it's paces.
