You dont try to do an over the top voice or use an abundance of unnecessary emotionally charged adjectives describing what we can plainly see by watching the footage itself. I personally find this to be much more respectful of the story and the victims involved. I had expected the opposite given the channel name but was pleasantly surprised! Excellent work! He's adjusting to the evidence presented before him to take control of the interrogation. It's a very insane spontaneous trait, because if you were a normal person, you wouldn't be able to handle all that stress; you'd just crumble down. So he's leading it to two choices: either he's a psychopath or an innocent. Unfortunately for this shithead, that would only happen in interrogations done haphazardly which I imagine would never happen in a competent precinct. Detective Casey's job here was to discern the motive, so it was basically already concluded that he was the perp.

Most psychopaths/sociopaths are like everyone else in-terms of average intelligence. The myth of the cunning, charming mastermind killer doesn't reflect the reality; Most of these people are arrested for petty crimes, drug dealing or fraud early in life because of their lack of impulse control, restraint etc. Also, lacking in empathy or remorse can trip you up eventually when maintaining the constant lies, deception, risky and erratic behavior becomes too much. Yeah he caught himself out there big time... I did laugh. And I looked the past when he said was that when my mum was dead? And the detective said " no when you killed her, she was dead" I should of laughed as it's not a laughing matter but that detective has patience of a saint. I would of liked him. He was so cocky and sure of himself. The detective was amazing. Great interview. But very sad. 😢 Poor woman didn't deserve a son like him or deserve to have her life taken that way. She seemed lovely. Rip.

He mistook his ignorance for intelligence. The fact that he didn't even think to act sad when the cops first came and gave him the news, or during the interview, and even laughed when the detective mentioned him losing his mom and when he talked about his dad dying. Him not showing any sadness about the death of his mother instantly tells you that he has the capability to do something like this

@@jdykes1381yea that was like one of his first talking points. The whole first part of his interaction with "Casey", was him letting the detective know just how secure he was financially. He went on and on about it and how he used the system for college tuition. He was telling a story that no one asked and he did it so when he brought it all home he thinks the detective would say "he doesn't have a motive because he didn't need the money" lol. What he didn't realize was that he was accidentally confessing via confession thru projection. I'm sure the detective picked that up
