Why is Lisa Aitken commentating matches? PSA there are much better retired players who would be much better commentators and will be better for the game. No offense, Scottish accent doesn't sound too well unless its a joke being told!

Sherbini has been my favourite for years, but hammamy seems to be a perfect blend of sherbini and gohars game. What a player!!!

Appreciate leaving in the commentary on a couple of the highlights here just to allow us to follow the narrative. The crowd, pfft, in France they would have been going berserk for this match! Something else going on that we're not aware of perhaps that explains the stony atmosphere.

1.- WHY IS THE CROWD AGAINTS EL HAMMAMY? 2.- EL HAMMAMY HAS TO BE CAREFUL TO AVOID INJURIES. HER GAME DEMANDS COMOLICATED EFFORTS. 3.- THE REAL “WARRIOR PRINCESS HAS COME”. Happy to see new competitive faces!

This Crowd is painful.... if only they could bring the French open crowd..... These players are giving their all and this crowd is just dead..... These Ladies played well...it's sad there had to be a loser

Great match but was ruined by the lack of atmosphere from the crowd, each culture has its own way of expression but the Nantes tournoment the crowd was heavily involved regardless who was playing you have two Egyptian players playing in Egypt and nothing, that is really poor.

@@ahmedmoosa2001 This is not about respecting it is an observation having watched the match, the majority of players welcome a lively crowd including the Egyptian players.

You may get used to it, she is going to dominate for a long time. She plays like a champion.

I felt this way initially, but given she's not exactly causing mayhem out there, it's really nice to have some more personality and passion shown on the court. A few shouts and some emotion lets us know how much a match means to a player and that makes a big difference for viewers.

I actually was impressed in this game .. i was waiting for her to yell after each winner, but she was more reserved ... possibly she is growing and learning that its disrespectful to scream beside your opponent
