Just like Reed Shepherd and Rob Dillingham this year, Calipari didn't play Towns and Booker as much as he should have. Cal's favoritism towards certain players cost UK a lot of wins and wasted a lot talent.

Stanley johnson for my pistons was a difficult one he showed great defensive potential but his offense was dreadful which became a real liability on the team at times was like playing with 4 offensive players. Even tho plays in the g league his NBA career is dead

If anything this video also shows you how scouts give in so much to stereotypes. Every tall white dude is polished and can shoot. Every lanky black dude is a lob threat and defensive potential off the charts. Every light skin dude is a Klay Thompson archetype etc…I think the league does a much better job now scouting and drafting players

Despite having KAT and Booker, as well as Kristaps, is it safe to say that this was a lean draft? I mean, when compared to other drafts in the 2010s, only 2013 and 2019 have fewer All-Stars. However, 2013 had Giannis and Gobert; Oladipo also made one. 2019 had Zion and Ja; Garland also made one and these guys are still very young. Barrett and Herro could be All-Stars before it's all said and done.

Hmmm good question, it's 2015 so teams are still trying to find those Unicorn bigs that can shoot and dominate down low (KD 2.0), you already have wiggins too. so with all that being said I am taking KAT still. and even if it doesn't work out, just build him up and then trade him for someone who fits better later on

Yeah, it was a disappointing draft despite so much promise! Softness, injuries, and lack of desire to get better characterize top draft picks. Booker was the steal but even he is kind of soft. KP, had he not been injured, would've been the best, probably. What is terrible about 2015 draft is that there were no real stars in the late 1st and 2nd rounds.... just some good rotation guys.

Already knew okafor was a bust. With embiid and noel already there, he didnt get any jump shot or improve his fts. Even if he didnt get draftee by the 76ers he still would have needed to work on jump shot with the way nba going. 2014 spurs. 2015 gsw.
