I think the problem with Ben Simmons is that he’s suffering from an anxiety disorder caused by the pressures of being the #1 pick and having to perform in the playoffs. His continued presence in the NBA is doing nothing good for his mental health. He has to get serious psychological help, and perhaps may need to retire.

While I would not be surprised if he suffers from some sort of anxiety, I doubt it has something to do with where he was drafted but his own post-season play. In the end, Ben killed his own career. He outright has refused to learn to shoot, being offered the opportunity by some of the best shooting coaches. He has been quoted by several sources as having said "he does not need to learn how to shoot."

This was probably the draft that really showed how far the international game has gone how global the game had progressed as players likes Simmons, Hield, Poetl who came from nontraditional basketball markets were at the forefront but that being said, it also shows how bad international scouting and can be as many of those selected would bust out pretty spectacularly (Bender, Yabusele)

NBA Champ Pascal is the best player in this class. Not only is he an amazing scorer and playmaker on offence but his defence is high level as well and is a very underappreciated part of his game. He's also the most decorated player in his class.

I'm a Raptors fan. there is a solid case to put him at number 1 but with people like Jamal Murray, and Sabonis along with Brown and Dejounte it's safe to say he would be a top 5 or 6 pick in a redraft.

Craziest thing about Malachi Richardson- he got drafted during my graduation year, and my girlfriend at the time was obsessed w him and thought he’d be a star. I remember posting my graduation cap with Malachi on it on twitter and getting a follow back. 😂 she was wrong about his career but

If Ben Simmons had been good at jump shots and 3-point shots, he could have truly become a superstar player. He lacked passion and motivation for basketball, but it is true that the Sixers were able to return to being a powerhouse team thanks to him. The 2016 NBA Draft didn't produce any superstar players who would be inducted into the Hall of Fame after retirement, but it wasn't the worst draft ever.

If I was 6'11 and had a jumper and a three point shot, I'd be in the NBA too. That point is completely moot. Thats like saying "I'd be good at hockey if I could skate" well if you can't skate, you aren't good at hockey. So because Ben simmons can't shoot, he's not good at basketball. Idk why sixers fans always do the "if 1+1=3" the whole premise is stupid.

The Cavs 2013 draft is on par with Phoenix in 2016. Anthony Bennett first overall, then Sergey Karasev at 19 over Mason Plumlee, Rudy Gobert, Reggie Bullock, Andre Roberson, and Tim Hardaway Jr. Then we had a good pick at 31, Allen Crabbe, probably the best second rounder in the draft! …who we traded for Carrick Felix. Yuck.
