Only 6 months in office, our amiable governor has commissioned 6 road projects already. Meanwhile, some governors in other states are in constant embezzling mode. If I am to do my estimation of road projects by governor Alex Otti of Abia state, here is it. In 6 months, there are 6 commissioned roads, hence, in every one month, there is a commissioning of a completed road project. Therefore, one can forecast that by the end of his first four years (48 months) in office, the governor would have commissioned 48 completed road projects around the state. That is quite huge in the history of Nigeria. We need this kind of governor in the corridor of power in Nigeria.

Thank you for this comment. Imo state Governor is busy giving Shettima chieftaincy title while Herdsmen attack people and hunger is in his state. Anyways he selected himself as the Governor of Imo state. Anambra state Governor soludo is everywhere and is more interested in playing politics. There is Onitcha in Anambra state but nothing so far has commenced there. He just wants to do the little he can and restrategize to become the President of Nigeria. Ebonyi state …. Enugu state Governor knows how he got there. i don’t expect much. He is doing the barest minimum. I just wish Frank Nweke won in ENUGU STATE. It would have been magnificent for the Southeast honestly.

We have suffered so much that even basic substandard road, people start to rejoice. Pause that video at 0.42s and observe that road properly. What will happen if a vehicle breaks down and needs to pull over before assistance arrives? The hard shoulder lane is inadequate and bounded by uncovered shallow gutters. There are no footpaths even though houses are close by. This road project is not only substandard but likely dangerous and will require rebuilding in less than 5 years due to those shallow uncovered gutters which are likely to get blocked easily.

The performance of Governor Alex Otti in Abia State says it all; what has all the past governors of the state been doing? It is clear that our problem is mostly centered on the non-performance of governors in various states of the federation. This is what you get when State allocation is well spent and not embezzled. Stop blaming the Federal Government (President); blame the Governors!

Anambra has boundary with Umunneochi LGA of Abia state. Abia state has boundaries with the four other Igbo states plus Rivers and Akwa Ibom.

Julius Berger actually build fantastic roads. Even in Abuja you can tell the ones they built with paving, from other companies. Their finishing is above the rest.
