By now, you've probably heard of probiotics and prebiotics.
But on today's episode, I'm going to talk all about postbiotics - the most important compound in your body you've probably never heard of.
Today, you're going to learn why these special compounds - produced by the "gut buddies" living in your microbiome - are one of the most powerful ways to transform your health and energy levels.
You're also going to find out which TOXIC gas can actually boost your health, how to get your kids to eat more fiber, and why one particular type of rice (yes, rice!) can actually be great for your gut health.
Believe me, you're not going to want to miss this one!
In this episode, you'll learn:
The shocking truth about probiotics (you need to hear this)
Why feeding your gut buddies the RIGHT food is so important (and why most of us are feeding them all WRONG)
How your gut bugs actually "talk" to your cells (this is wild)
Why your mother is actually responsible for your energy (and the health of your microbiome - really!)
How adding THIS element to water can actually boost your energy levels
Why one toxic gas can actually boost your energy levels (but only if you get the RIGHT amount)
The compound in butter that can help you lose weight and can affect your mood and energy levels (and a better way to get it than by eating a whole stick of butter!)
The "cool" technique that can transform starches into food for your gut buddies
Why THIS "embarrassing" habit after meals is actually essential for good gut health (and much more)
What to do if you have a sensitivity to garlic and onions (this is SIMPLE)
How much fiber you really need to eat every day (and how to sneak more of it into your kids' diets)

I make organic green tea 2 gallons at a time and I sweeten it with inulin and add vitamin C power with stevia. 3 tablespoons of each in each 2 gallon of green tea. I drink about a gallon a day. 15 grams of fiber per tablespoon and around 18,000% of vitamin C in each 2 gallons of tea.

Thank you so much for an interesting and informative video. Might I suggest that one of your upcoming videos focus on how recover from SIBO/SIFO and regrow a healthy biome in the colon ,...while not causing further SIBO/SIFO issues. Thanks so much!

I have just started cooking two large chopped up red onions in a covered frying pan with some coconut oil on fairly low heat for ten minutes. Allowing them to cool and storing them in a covered jar in the fridge. We can then have a spoonful or two on a daily basis, along with the sweet potatoes. I am definitely feeling better, and producing some gas...!!

👍When first using probiotics, some people experience gas, bloating, or diarrhea. Changes in the gut microbiota can result in bacteria producing more gas than usual, which can lead to bloating. However, these side effects usually clear up within a few days or weeks of taking the probiotics.

Would love to hear you interview Dr. Esselstyne - have a few mild heart symptoms at 77 and am starting his rather strict diet to see if they can be reversed. Would enjoy you both comparing together your findings and seeing if you can go beyond opinions and see why each thinks the way around heart disease is the way... thank you. 🙏❤️

Dear Dr Gundry since in this time of our lives we need more supplements , would you please educate us about them : What is the best approach for taking vitamins and supplements, For instance D Omega3 Zinc Potassium Mag Selenium B12 Cal Copper,.... since in chemical point of view many of them won't work together or they cancel each other. Most of the directions of use said taken with food but if we eat once or twice a day how we can manage it . If I am right you eat once a day and twice for supplements M-Fr. In my case will be harder since I am in a rotation shift. What is the best program ? Thank you so much ∞👊🏻🐉
