Chargers have a rough cap situation next year. 45 million over the cap, 55 mil over counting the draft class, with 4 aging stars counting for 55% of the cap. Lots of dead money if they cut or trade them. I'd imagine next year is a reset then try to contend with the Chiefs in year 2.

10 wins is not out of the question. they won 10 in 2022 with staley. they lost games this year because of injuries, they have the talent.

Honestly, expectations shouldn't be too high. It's a new era. Things take time to stew. The big expectation is just fixing Justin Herbert, elevating him to where he needs to be so there'll be no more question marks surrounding him

Personally, I'm surprised he took only $16m a year. Michigan offered $12.5m so we're talking only a 3.5m difference. Best time to be a Chargers fan in awhile

It would genuinely be surprising if a chargers team with Herbert, Keenan Allen, Ekeler, Palmer, Bosa, and more led by Harbaugh don't get at least 2nd in their division. It's unrealistic to say they're gonna topple the chiefs dynasty but it would be embarrassing if they do worse than the broncos.

As Harbaugh is my 49ers hand me down, it’s Super Bowl or Bust for LAC.

Trade down and accumulate couple extra picks from an ATL or NYJ team and Draft Bowers, JPJ in the 2nd, and couple D lineman and a dog at DB like Sainristi and hit on a couple FAs and we more than good. We have an elite coch and qb, we will win at least 11-12 games in our first i truly believe that.

I think Ty is 100% right. The dude is a winner, with a QB and some weapons, so what he did with the 49ers, you expect him to win with the Chargers. I expect a winning record at minimum the first year, and if he doesn't get that but at least shows some promise, especially near the end of the season, then that will be acceptable, but second year he better be in the playoffs, and 3rd he should being winning playoff games and possibly a trip to the SB or very near.

I’m have no expectation for him other than feeling the team united and seeing the defense and offense keep it together through games. Also not constantly missed tackled and blown coverages.

This year i hit 50 years as a Chsrger fan,i am from Eastern New Mexico , i think they were playing the Jets and my brother ssid i for them ,He is a Dallas fan so are all my other 5 siblings. I said i am for other tesm like there helmets. I never switched. Back then i could only score watch and read sports page ,and some times Monday night football half time highlights with Mr Howard Cosrll. Never in my wildest dreams if you ask me 50. Years later how many SuperBowls we had won that the answer would be zero. Now 57 . Being A Charger fan we must lead the fans in one thing and that is heart breaks. 10 wins minimum for Harbaugh as he’s a proven coach. I do believe he has the coaching, experience in the right places also (GM, Strength & Conditioning and DC) and the quarterback to turn the Chargers around quickly.

Harbaugh need to clean house with al the players that didn't live up to their contracts. We know who they are. Bosa etc.

I think the chargers legitimately have a good chance of making the AFC championship year 1. They’re a rare team where the talent doesn’t match or indiciate their record & results at all. The right coach would put that talent to appropriate use
