The Liberal Democrats have announced their 'manifesto to save the NHS'.
Sir Ed Davey, the leader of the Liberal Democrats, has launched the party's 114-page, "fully costed" manifesto, which includes policies such as everyone having a right to see a GP within seven days or 24 hours if it's urgent.

The avoidance and evasion is huge among trades that can use cash. I'm a small business. Tradesmen hate dealing with me when I tell them I need a full invoice, because it means they have to declare the income. I say go after them for every penny. I don't contract services under the table for cash. It's immoral. And I do not care about someone doing it making an argument based on the morality of government. That's irrelevant.

To be fair they would be a better bet than Labour or Tories. But I'm not seeing any party focusing on the tax allowance apart from Reform, which is the only thing that can help people financially.

Th Lib Dems raised the income tax threshold by £6,000 last time they were in government. The problem right now is that the economy is a mess and there is no EU money to help out.

I have a lot of respect for Sky in the UK. But of course we have standards of broadcasting. In Australia Sky News behaves the same as Fox News in the US. But one thing they have in common - a two party system is simply easier.

7:27 LibDems can't wait to return to the EU family again. They missed the EU so much. Wouldn't UK be punished for leaving in the first place and succumbed to more stringent policies if wished to return in future?

Getting back into the SM is the only policy that will ensure growth. All else is like "having a punctured tyre and promising a smooth ride". The Swiss model is what I guess the Lib Dems are aiming at.
