@@arayaviolin6421 Exactly true! Cholestramine powder (prescription) is NY savior. A binder that binds to anything bad, mold, mycotoxins, mercury etc ... then swooshes it out. Activated charcoal in capsules are a well known binder, they even make those little burlap bags filled with Coconut shelss burned to a charcoal to put around your house & car, they do help "lightmold" and you just lay them in the sun to reactivate. Certain hose plants clean your room air, One of the Iveys and I can't remember. Ask a garden center.

I have had breathing issues for quite a while it has gotten so bad that I can hardly walk to the next room. So I started searching and sure enough I found mold under my kitchen sink area and it was bad. I've been through every test possible and not one person tested me for mold poisoning and I still can't find someone who will do it. So I have been cleaning and cleaning and cleaning and using bleach and hydrogen peroxide and trying to get it all out ripped everything out of there and finally I'm starting to breathe a little easier it's still bad but not as bad. I just ordered a bottle of stuff for mold off of Amazon that should finish off the job for me. I'm so happy I found you because it really explained a lot of my illnesses. Thank you!

I'm ten weeks into my mold infection. My eyes itch at times, I have whats called "metal mouth" a taste and sensation in my tong upper and lower jaw, an irritation in the back is my mouth that promotes a cough on occasion that a Halls cough drop stops it. I rarely have headaches I now have them more often. During the first days of the onset I sweat from the top of my head profusely for a couple of days. I got this renovating water damage to my camper. I took measures to protect myself with an EPA approved mask and dust suit however I used a vacuum cleaner to clean up the debris. I didn't clean the dust catcher out then used it on another job which is where the infection occurred I believe. I have had little luck in where to go to get treatment. Finally I have an appointment with a pulmonary doctor a month from now. I fear this infection will continue to get treatment.

Hi I do have a question for you if you are exposed to different types of mold okay I don't know if there's any way for you to call me back like it's kind of long and I have plates with growth on them I've been dealing with this for 2 years last year I thought it was over with but this year and my new apartment as soon as the sewers train backed up in my apartment three times and they're doing all this construction in here too all the dust and stuff flying around or whatever else is flying around gets on my skin and in my private area. They look like either little black dots or like a little short piece of black thread some of them are brown balls too I don't know what this is it's driving me crazy the only one that it is affecting is me in the home nobody else anywhere else don't know what they've ever had this issue at this apartment complex before I don't know I know I have called everybody I know to try to get testing in here and I ended up being able to do it myself I used to work in microbiology as a lab assistant so I didn't know too many organisms but I'm really curious to know what all it is on these plates they said that it was look like normal house mold but it doesn't look like that to me and we find these little black desperately seeking help I've been to seven different doctors and been misdiagnosed it's very frustrating and depressing I believe it even affected my thyroid because I am hypothyroid and ever since 2004 when I was diagnosed I've never had to change my medicine until now

Hi. I am 95% sure I have mold toxicity or I have lost my mind. I live in a very old, dilapidated apartment building. I had a major leak that started Dec. 20, 2020. (Land lord is not addressing this issue). I have severe chest tightness and I feel my heart rate go through the roof pretty much all day. I have serious cognitive deficits from it, to the point that I failed my very last class in nursing school (I can't retake my class and graduate until I'm treated, because if not, I'll fail again). I dismissed my signs and symptoms as being exhaustion because I'm a senior nursing student and/ or a new nurse self diagnosing. I also have a history of severe anxiety and PTSD. Can anyone give me some advice? Should I see a pulmonologist, cardiologist or allergist? I went to my PCP and she gave an Rx for Albuterol, performed no diagnostic tests (ZERO), not even a urine test, & sent me on my way. I have no way of describing the physical symptoms as anything other then, it feels like there is a golfball lodged in the center of my chest and my heart rate is insanely high. In addition to the memory loss, inability to concentrate, etc. I stop in the middle of sentences because I forget a word, or I just blank out and I can't remember what I was talking about. My family doesn't believe me, regardless of the evidence of pictures I have, videos of the leak and pictures of the progression of mold growth down my walls. Do I need to test the mold in order to get a proper treatment? If they do find mold spores in my lungs, and I'm assuming the rest of my body, does a mold sample and identification of the organism help drive the treatment? PLEASE HELP ME !!

You should see the doctor, get medication that treat fungal infection and or skin cream. Ear nose throat specialist. My Home treatment, the best I’ve used is Colloidal Silver. I drink it, I use in my eyes, I nebulize for my lungs. Also eat non GMO foods and begin to detox your body with different cleanse for your organs. When I use for sinuses I completely flush daily. Many of us are sick from micro toxins, there are Facebook groups where we learn how too help rid our bodies of toxins. Look into the landlord tenant act and protect yourself.

I sympathize w/ you. I began considering mold poisoning a few years ago when I continually grew sicker. I had worked in numerous environments w/ know mold problems- the beginning of my illness. My coworkers were constantly sick as well, but I had an unknown (at that time) congenital condition that had also begun causing huge problems. A traumatic event occurred in that same period & was just one strike too many, my body was out: mentally & physically. I was about to be demoted from a job I had the degree & certification for and had done well for years b/c of cognitive performance…I definitely wasn’t smarter than a 5th grader & at that point they would have been able to do the job way better than I was. I thought I was losing my mind or getting dementia. The exhaustion was like being up w/ a newborn that never gets older. I had a complete change in environment (work & home) which only made things worse…learning shortly after my work area had had such a major mold infestation that people refused to enter it even after it was cleaned & still caused allergic reactions for some employees that did. I took my concerns to management as I was becoming frequently more ill & disclosed my mold exposures in previous employment. Their response…I was fired. I was so sick by then I didn’t fight back & haven’t been able to take basic care of myself since, which also meant not being able to hold down any job I attempted no matter how reduced. The symptoms began increasing/spreading once I went back home (no income, no ability to care for myself, really grateful they took me in). Small amounts of mold were definitely visible & smelled - but nothing like the horror stories you see pics of. Sinus/allergy/cold, headaches & nausea that never got better seriously made me wonder. I was told I was a hypochondriac, felt embarrassed & haven’t brought it up again. Getting a rare, serious & difficult to treat lung infection shortly thereafter really made me wonder. Feel like I’m suffocating most of the time since & the head-to-toe itching that came along around the same time has now been joined by a light rash. I’m finally not the only one displaying several of these symptoms, but no idea what to do.

@@sidhenry6422 Definitely move out and take a good b complex and extra vitamin B1; I saw somewhere that it helps decrease sensitivity. I have a friend that is ultra sensitive but rest of family is not. You might have to get rid of all of your things if you continue to be very sensitive, but they say if you have mold spores on your belongings you can take it with you to the new place. Be careful. How are you now? It's been a year that you wrote about your horrible experience. Detox EVERYONE detox is the only way to get it out. Cholestramine powder is the binder most Mold knowledgeable physicians prescribe for you . Get a good probiotic, Saccharomyces boulardii is what you want. Mold enters the body by inhalation, skin & eyes. When you touch or move black mold, it turns into tiny microscopic Mycotoxins that can stick to your walls, ceiling, floors, furniture, clothes and the more pourus the item (books 😢 fill up with Mycotoxins) It made me throw up, can't regulate my body temperature, my bad knee is so painful and worse after the Mycotoxins- most likely surgery- icky. My skin is so dry too. I actually got out but limped through a cosmetic shop and I guess the PERFUMES were affecting me I looked down at my arms, they had turned white and flaky, then I left and the dry flakes left too. So what we inhale takes such a huge impact on our health. I read a man who wrote he had lost his wife & a cat to a mold exposed house. Really serious stuff this is.
