Today we take a look at Merit Office Installations, Merit House, Merit House, Unit 1 4, 4 Whitewall Rd, Rochester ME2 4WS.
We speak to the lads at PDA Plastic, Commissioner's Rd, Rochester ME2 4EB about what they do but they where just going home.
We then inform reception of our plans before returning back to the road where we speak to a viewer and a member of staff who comes back in an electric car.

Area was quarried in the 1800s into the early 1900s for lime and cement works. The white brick building behind Will was the Frindsbury Works which produced lime in the 1800s and oil field services yard in the 1900s. On the drone view 15:18 the solar on the Merit offices and the angled frames by the containers were added 2023 as well as the backup power generating station. Diggerland head offices are located down from the Veolia gate with a Combat Engineer Tractor on display. Awesome chats and views 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic positive video from Merit and PDA. Big up to all the staff involved in this wonderful clip. I have never seen so many solar panels - it lifts my heart to see that companies are doing the right thing with renewable energy ❤. @@noelward8047 I agree. I worked with the great David MacKay on this very topic. Heat pumps and solar are all very good; but they are not without their problems. Gas, oil and other fossil fuels are not without their problems, nor are they very good. Let's have a proper, grown-up discussion about the best way to produce energy. With all the pros, and cons. Let's talk about how we can use energy more efficiently, so that we don't have to produce as much. I worked in this field for many years. And I helped on David MacKay's "Energy Calculator". My personal opinion is that a country's energy needs should be met by a broad range of sources in order to maintain energy security. For that reason, I am very much in favour of solar panels and wind turbines. But I acknowledge that the majority of a country's energy needs will be provided by fossil fuels (or nuclear, if they are lucky).

Given the chalk faces at the back I suspect this was once a quarry, that was then backfilled with landfill (and it’s the landfill gasses that generate electricity shown on video), then the reclaimed land had that industrial estate developed on top of it.
