@@braunstein5645 I don't know about crocodiles or alligators, but snakes (possibly depending on breed) can recognize their owners. Considering the fact that there are also lizards that will run to greet their carers, I don't fully buy the whole “reptiles are too stupid to love” stuff.

@@angela5610 no either way they aren't domesticated so they still follow there primal instincts closely. Training them makes them less dangerous and less likely to attack. So it's the equivalent of putting tide pods with safety seal next to an adult who is also stupid. The adult had the ability to still get into the tide pods and kill himself but the seal makes it slightly harder. Basically I'm saying any trained wild non domesticated animal can go off regardless of how much rigorous training it's been through.

@justinunion75863 жыл бұрын
@TooLateToTheStory There aren't any studies that can show that a reptile has bonded with a person beyond understanding that said person is a food source. Protecting and providing food for young shouldn't be confused with caring for young. In mammals and birds caring for young includes social grooming and caressing to develop social traits. Again, reptiles simply don't have the neurological wiring for this. They don't need it. Social bonding isn't a requirement for reptilian survival.
