As someone who has worked in the service industry, having the back halls is actually really helpful. You can move your equipment/catering carts/laundry hampers quickly and easily without awkwardly bumping into any guests. If you get a break you can have your snacks/drinks/smoke safely out of sight without being pestered by guests. You can have ad hock meetings with other staff to co-ordinate catering and entertainment. It might seem like the separation of class is socially mean, but the separate space is functionally useful. Like working a job that doesn't have it, I've had to wait for a guests to finish their 20min cocktail conversation before they moved away so I could move my trolley 5 meters to the set up location. ...and if you are catering one of those roast pigs it's just weird dragging a dead hog right through the middle of a cocktail party. Before anyone says but can't you do it earlier? You don't get paid for pre-prep time. No one else will be there to let you in the building earlier. Plus you don't want food sitting around for hours. You need to bring that stuff in fresh just before the dinner gets cooked which is usually just when guests are arriving and starting cocktails. The back halls are very useful for staff. It means we can do our jobs quickly and easily without bumping into guests.

In the middle east, there's some malls that have "snow rooms" since it doesn't snow here. They tend to have ski areas, snowball fight areas, and basically anything fun that you can do with snow. In the case of the Sweden mansion in Dubai, I'd assume a rich person wouldn't want to enjoy snow with "the poor", so a private snow room does sort of make sense.

Also, In the Swedish/Finnish tradition you roll around naked in snow to cool off after the sauna. But here's the bad parts: 1. The dragon head on the boat is upside down. Plus you remove the scary head when not attacking an enemy town. 2. In Dubai, premarital and extramarital sex gets you thrown in prison. So no point having features for enjoying that.

I know a a couple whom loved to play Sims, so they built their dream home in Sims (tested it worked and was all efficient) and handed the model to an archetect, who copied the model into properly dimentioned plans to build the the home exactly as they wanted. Incidentally, that was the original intent of the Sims creators; to make a dev testing tool for archetects. it just turned out to also be really fun to play. 🤣 (Could build a welcome hall, with flashing signs that say "I'm a youtuber, please have doughnut and chill for a bit, I'll be down in a minute." and an automatic doughnut and coffee maker, and speakers that play calming elvator music.)

The snow room is so you can cool off your skin after the sauna. In the alpines in Europe you have snow on the mointain where you are in the sauna so you can just walk outside and go right into the snow. This somehow helps your immune system and also tightens your skin I think. Thats why they have the snow room.
