I think we are all very excited for Chelsea to be back. If we have key players fit this season I can see us getting at least top 4 . Hopefully the groundwork for a stable system of play can be built and lots of minutes for a variety of players and ofcourse a guaranteed europa league from winning the conference league.

Rubbish lol. Lavia has shown nothing to be ahead of Enzo. Enzo is perfect for Marescas system. Lavia will be rotated. Enzo is first 11.

@@danwaters4139 sadly, because of the injuries, you have forgotten what a talent Lavia was. LAVIA WILL REMOVE ENZO FROM THIS TEAM 💯!! Lavia is the perfect register that sits and plays the Winks role in the Maresca system. Fits like a glove. Enzo Fernandez is NOT EXACTLY that player! Does not have the ATHLETICISM and DEFENSIVE DISCIPLINE of Lavia to play that role under Maresca. I wish some of you understood football a little more. If you did, Lavia displacing Enzo will not even be a debate!!

Palmer is best through the middle. I will feel very sad if Palmer is pushed back to the wing bcos of KDH! Palmer is NOT a WINGER!

98% sure we are gonna play 4-3-3…. So I don’t see how Palmer is playing in the middle. In fact in a 4-3-3 formation THERE IS NO NUMBER 10# ROLE! (Sad but true) The other problem is, if we play 4-3-3 then that would mean ONLY 1 HOLDING MIDFIELDER PLAYING AS A 5! Knowing Maresca with what he did with Harry Winks and surely he is watching the Copa America and seeing Enzo play as a 5 in the middle of a 4-3-3…. That is how we are gonna be setting up!! Enzo will sit, Caicedo and KDH will be the energy next to him (like Macalister and De Paul in the Argentina team) and then that leaves Palmer, Nkunku up front on the wings and who knows who will be the 9 (at the moment Jackson) So you can forget Palmer playing as a 10

@@wesleymichael9636 First, Palmer is a far better player than KDH, and in a 433, Palmer will slot into that KDH role flawlessly as an 8 supporting the attack. Palmer is far more creative and scores goals better too. And Palmer can also work hard and do defensive duties. So if Maresca plays KDH (a Championship player at best until he proves otherwise this new season) in that position and pushes Palmer, (the best player in the EPL last season if Foden had not won the EPL), & all his creativity and impact to the wing, it will show that he is not fit to coach a team of stars like Chelsea and will spell DOOM for our season! It will be the beginning of the end for Chelsea, and he will be sacked in no time!!!!!!!
