Anyone who missed the backstage promos from KENTA might want to check out his thoughts during the "New Jacan Pac". One of the best parts of Suzuki-Gun was that they were heels, but they had some amount of honor to uphold to show skill and toughness. A lot of the multi man tag matches can be pretty predictable, but the ones that were Suzuki-Gun vs Suzuki-Gun were always hard hitting. Instead of House of Torture going that way, it seems Bullet Club took up that spot. I was hoping to see some of the better wrestlers like EVIL and SHO get ground to dust and have no choice but to stick to wrestling the same way Taichi did a few years back. A lot of fans are gonna be upset if they have to slog through another G1 with that much annoyance without HoT getting some heavy receipts. Maybe EVIL should be next to lose his hair. He's had it since his days in ROH as Watanabe. I think with Naito winding down and looking to do more dream matches and keep himself in one piece, plus the fact that he's already a merch machine means that he probably won't hold the belt for the rest of the year. He doesn't need a belt to sell out appearances in the US. I would be completely behind Big Match Tsuji, Goto, ZSJ, or someone of that caliber taking the belt from Naito before the G1.

To me, Goto should always be that great talent who never won the big one. It gives value to the title that someone that talented never held it, and it makes Goto all the more endearing. There have been so many guys who are legendary that just didn't make it to the top IWGP prize, so it doesn't hurt to be in the same company as the likes of Shibata, Suzuki, Stan Hansen, Taichi, or Prince Devitt. Goto's legacy will be what he made of the NEVER Openweight division when it wasn't being booked for it's initial purpose. He gave it a style, a reason to exist, and a reason to look forward to the title being defended on a card. Bishimon is also mad successful, so to me he's already gotten his flowers. There's no reason to put the old samurai bridesmaid relic from Inoki-ism over the young up-and-comers. As for HoT, between Evil's performance in G1 and a majority of the faction's work this Cup, I believe going forward they'll continue to be long lasting disruptors in tourney play that give the audience conniption fits and panic attacks by sticking around late into the brackets. I will say, despite how tedious the faction can get, they've certainly lent an aura and identity to Jack Perry overnight and done wonders by making Narita interesting. They've even given Kanemaru an identity as faction mastermind.

Kinda reminds me of WWE heading into the Austin era. It was hard to imagine what comes after Shawn Michaels after he and Bret became the focal points of the New Generation era, and especially after the buzz from the Montreal Screwjob. Lucky for WWE what came after was one of the most legendary periods of its existence. The run up to the Austin era also featured a "one-and-done" character in Mike Tyson, similar to The Rock's role now.

I stopped watching WWE when the signed punk this year. And I completely swore ever watching any content from them when they first announced the rock vs reigns for wrestle mania. Sure they changed it after (because of fan backlash), but the was their first plan. Anyways, the only way I've been keeping up with them is through podcasts and can I say that am I the only who feels like this build up is taking forever? I'm exhausted of it already

The problem with it is that it's the focus of two shows, and basically the only thing going on over on Smackdown besides Damage CTRL. It wouldn't kill them to have a show that doesn't surround the Bloodline/Finish The Story saga.

I do not think wrestlemania is a two match show at all. They have some people in some interesting places. Becky vs Rhea will be good. I think the heavyweight tittle match also has built some good steam. It feels similar to mania 31

1- I haven’t been watching AEW past Snapchat content (which is the easiest way to watch the product without actually watching the product for AEW). I don’t know. I feel I need a break from them. They have this new restructuring and it’s going to an interesting experiment. I’m happy they’re thriving in content. They are doing things that I would rather watch if the Bloodline stuff is not on full display. 2- I’m happy New Japan is doing good. It feels like Goto is going to be one of there high go to guy if they want positive press. Another company in the early days of restructuring that will take a year. 3- for WWE, I been watching KZfaq videos on the Bloodline promos. It’s a pretty good overall story they’re telling is good. Logan Paul being full time is great to have for the US belt. Intercontinental title is going to be interesting. Tag belts ladder match should be interesting. I’m still holding on something for Jade for WM.
