Jessica, are you absorbing the vitamin D? I wasn’t. I have to have a pray version. And I also take K2MK7 to help me absorb it properly. Before I did that I wasn’t getting the same benefit from the dose. Sorry march sucked for you too. Migraines are miserable. My one last week coincided with a work trip during which I got a total of six hours sleep tone entire week due to the pain. By the end of the week people were starting to ask if I was okay because I couldn’t mask anymore. But Thursday night the pain was dropping off and people were suddenly commenting that I was smiling. It’s not like I wasn’t trying to smile the rest of the week. I just don’t have good enough drugs. 🤯 Hope April is better for us all.

Also also, Thailand already protects gender identity and expression!!! If the marriage equality law passes, Thailand will be the most progressive legal system in the SEA region.

There is totally just something about March that triggers migraines/other inflammatory disorders in so many people… for me I assume it has to do with the changing light and the way the weather can fluctuate rapidly back and forth, meaning constant pressure changes. Allergies probably don’t help, either.

Rub candle wax on the drawers. It will help lessen the friction. Also, I have a play list of comedy musical theatre show videos stashed away for metaphorical rainy days. Cheers me up when I'm bedridden sick or when I'm sobbing because of work or finance related stress. The other option instead of candle wax is rubbing the drawer runners with a lead pencil (carpenters pencils, those rectangular ones, are the best). The graphite in pencil leads has flat molecules which slide over each other, so helping the drawer glide open and shut. Incidentally, this also works on the teeth of a zip that keeps catching.

Hihi, I just wanted to propose the same thing! 😊 P.s. In the unlikely case that the wax doesn't help, it could be that the wood has warped over time. Then it can be fixed by sanding it down a bit in the places where it has warped and to then wax it😊 And that secretaire is abosolutely gorgeous! I love how you decorated the upper shelves it looks lovely!😍

Nothing has worked to prevent mine & the only thing that seemed to help a bit gave me toxicity at the lowest dose so I'm stuck too Also if anyone in the UK is reading yes, please don't ever vote for the tories again if you are ill or disabled yourself or have friends & family who are. I've had a terrible March too. In fact, all my plans for December till now have been blown up by surprise health problems, including a brain injury 🙃. It's been very upsetting for me. Now I have almost daily migraines and can relate to being in pain for so much of the day. In fact, your videos explaining migraines and what they are like have helped me a lot to identify what was happening to me and to feel less alone, so thank you for that. To join in positivity, some good things about my March: --my brain injury symptoms are better at the end of the month than the beginning --I got back my income tax rebate (I'm American) and it's 3 times what I expected it to be so I can pay my bills for the next couple months, whoo hoo! --I discovered Oatly strawberry swirl bars, which are soo delicious --I've been eating a lot of soup, which is such a cozy food to me --I was let go from my job for health reasons, but I now at least I don't have to see the several jerks that I worked with ever again if I don't want to. Here's to April being better!

Migraine headaches are not strangers to me. Nor am I able to live without medications and specific dietary restrictions. I can, however, say I do not wakeup every day in pain. I do live with constant fatigue and other issues. I could sleep for days sometimes and have. I cannot imagine all you go through on a daily basis. I applaud your determination to make your life as fulfilling and normal as possible. Good health is a dream for some of us and when we do not appear to have any visible issues or disabilities, people can sometimes be very cruel and judgemental. It is easy to be discouraged and even give up altogether. You are amazing in all you have done and make me want to try harder to do more even though it may take ten times longer than it should. This month was hard for me, too! I recently moved which I was super excited about but then spent most of the month being sick and then eventually getting strep throat! I had so many plans to finish being moved in (moved into my new apartment March 1) but I still have stuff to unpack and things to do even at the end of the month. I also didn't get to do a lot of my creative projects and me and my husband's KZfaq channel got like...zero love this month. Good things though! I saw a wiener dog outside the doctor's when I was getting tested for strep. I went drinking with my Grandma on St. Patty's day. I played the new Stardew Valley update. I've been growing my skills well at my day job! My cat likes the new apartment. I got a prayer book. There are more, I just have to find them in the little things. Anyway, I wish you the best! Sometimes our bodies just force us to rest even if we don't want to (ugh!), which is what I had to learn this month. May we find some energy in the coming weeks!

I absolutely feel you with doctors prescribing stuff with horrible side effects. I have vasovagal syndrome (or POTS, I'll know in 2 weeks because I have cardiologist appointment which one for sure) and I told psychiatrist about it, then she prescribed me med that is known to raise heart rate. I felt like I was dying, called her and you know what she told me? 'It might be like that, if it doesn't stop on it's own after few days, go to ER' excuse me, after few days? I couldn't go to the bathroom alone! And she didn't tell me while prescribing it that it could happen, she almost yelled at me that I focus on my health too much. I'm sorry that I have few chronic conditions, and you, healthy person who have no idea how it is, can't understand that I just can't ignore it. I didn't take more of this med and I don't want to go to her anymore, I'll probably just change doctors. Meanwhile, my cardiologist, who also has vasovagal syndrome was like 'I don't want you to feel alone so there is about a milion of tips that helped me, maybe try them and something will work for you too'. Also my anesthesiologist in pain management clinic where I go with my migraine and tension headaches had issues with her spine and she's so understanding, she knows how it is to feel pain for prolonged time, so she really wants to help. Finding who lived with similar issues is a blessing, maybe not for them, but definitely for patients.

My favourite thing this month: one of my favourite relatives is visiting us. I haven't seen her in 5+ years. My least favourite (to put it lightly) thing this month: My uncle has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

No pressure Jessica, but I know we would love both merch (stickers please when you get a chance) and if you got a PO Box again. I just want to rep my favorite disabled queer vintage queen and maybe send her and her family a present. You have people all over the world who love you and are sending you positive energy! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🩷

Yes i wake up Every bloody day with pain in my body without any future that is going to be better. And if i am lucky no migrain this morning. But after one hour i bath. Total makeup and then out with a smil ( and limping with my rollator) i am out to meet the world and people wonder why i always seems to be happy. Ok- things doesnt get better on being Sad. So while i walk i watch you at some times, mainly Palace confidential or some gossip on youtube about Chanel and the i take a coffee and feel like a million bucks . But makeup , a hat and gloves on doesnt makes it worse. One could be elegant even behind a rollator

God. I feel you. Had a lot this month, also travelled back to SEA and work year ended for us so a lot of changes including new coworkers and bosses. With my travel and social life, though I was quite busy, a lot of expectations were still left unmet. A lot of potential wasted, a lot of emotions brought out. Exhausting but also at the same time, not satiating. There are days I just crashed and stayed in bed. Weather did not help, either. Still too cold because of the constant rain. Had to bike under the rain multiple times just this week alone. It's still around 10c here when it should already be a comfy 15 or so. Even the sakuras haven't bloomed yet. There's still a couple days left though, and I see the tiniest sakura buds starting to come out of their bulbs. Hopefully it's an omen for a better next month and just up and up from there. Ok, thanks for letting me have my rant. Cheers!
