As a half Peruvian I’m just very happy that my country is 10th, it’s not the best ranking but at least people like our food, which is very underrated. You need to try Indian food more. 75% of the spices in the world are produced in India, so if you want flavours in your food, you need to try Indian food. Have a Mango pickle and lemon pickle as a side dish. Many Chutneys as side dishes. Have a "Puran Poli with Ghee" as a dessert. For the main course I would recommend Aloo Gobi, Palak Paneer, Kurkuri Bhendi (Okra), Bhaigan ka bharta (Eggplant dish), Daal Tadka (Lentil Soup) with Jeera rice and Roti. To make it all palatable in drinks I would recommend Mango Lassi or Mastani or Chhach or sol kadhi. All of the above dishes are vegetarian, spices make the flavours not the meat these all taste good. These are the dishes prepared in everyone's home, nothing mentioned above is a restaurant dish. Authentic Indian food. Breakfast items mentioned below Dosa Idli Uttapam Tarri Poha Upma/Uppit Chhole Bhature Aloo Paratha or mixed veg Paratha Street food items below - Pani Puri (Every Indian loves Pani Puri) Paav Bhaji Dabeli Bhel Samosa Any kind of Chats ( there are different kinds of Chats like Papadi chats, Samosa chats, Kachori chats etc, search on Google) Non vegetarian dishes / Meat dishes Chicken Tikka Masala Butter chicken Hyderabadi Dum Biryani Chicken lollipop Mutton Dum Biryani Rogan Josh (Royal dish served to King and Queens in the ancient times) Indian Chinese Noodles Chicken 65 Chicken Momos I think I have already given so many dishes here still going to recommend one last dish which is 'Dal Khichadi with Tadka". This is my staple food. Savoury dish for me. I'm not experienced in Sea food that is why it is not mentioned above. The starting paragraph mentioned dishes are mainly from Maharashtra State ( one of the largest GDP and per capita state of India). I’ve only ever had samosas (which I love) & chicken curry. That’s it. I live in Texas & we have a few Indian restaurants but I’ve never been, I’m sure it’s way better in India tho.

You never eat Italian food, you eat fake Italian food, come to Italy, find a good restourant in the city of the food you want to try (like: Carbonara: Rome, Pizza: Naples, Fiorentina: Florence, Risotto/Ossobuco: Milano, Lasagna: Bologna ecc.) and try the very Italian Food. The regions of the world that have the most spices (warmer regions located close or relatively close to the equator that grow spices year round) have the tastiest foods. Funny how these little charts always leave out the Caribbean, S. America, Africa, etc. Your European foods could never. You typically cook with salt (and maybe a pinch of black pepper) because your ancestors did not have access to lots of spices when their cuisines developed.
