RTX 4070 Ti would be the better GPU to pair with the i5 13600KF. But the RTX 4070 paired with the Ryzen 5 7600 is the perfect duo.

@user-nc4ls4ed1l The 5800x is very similar to the 5800x3D. It has a slightly faster clock speed than the 5800x3D, and is slightly faster in most scenarios, but the 3D V Cache in the 5800x3D makes it slightly better than the 5800x when it comes to gaming.

On 1080p or 1440p? Is a 1440p monitor worth it? I bought the same set up but I wanted to game in 1080p and get all the frames but from what ive understood (varied opinions) the cpu would be bottlenecking the card so I wouldnt be able anyway to get the best performance I could frames wise but atleast in 1440p I get better image. Ive never used a 1440p monitor and fine with 1080p. But is there truly a magnificent different in quality to care if the monitor is 27" ?

@@creeperminehidk what your use case is but once you switch to 1440p from that point 1080p will feel like 720p. It's addictive and miles better.

I bought R7 5800x3d to pair with 4070

I just upgraded to a 4070 and Ryzen 7 5700x from a 3060ti R5 5600x combo. Can’t wait to see how they match up at 1440p 165hz.

Rtx 4070 super is the same as the 4070 in requirements which is great, so everything u learn here applie it to the 4070 super.

13500 is basically a 13600k with no overclocking.

Because at lower resolution the performance gap between CPU and GPU becomes greater and when GPU is much stronger than CPU , The CPU will bottleneck and cause lower performance. At higher resolution GPU and CPU gap becomes closer and bottleneck becomes lower. For example if at 1080p cpu could process 100FPS , GPU can generate 250FPS , in this example CPU is weaker part and more FPS drops , but in 4k GPU can generate 100FPS or 90FPS with this resolution CPU\GPU Combination is good and no bottleneck happens

Yes it will need the same as the 4070 so don't worry about that.

First look at the size you want, then the cpu compatibility, then the ports and other shii you want

Just upgraded from 3060 to 4070 with that processor and my fps has not gone up so not good i would say

Depends on the resolution and game. I have 12400f with 7800xt which is about the same as a 4070 and the performance gain was nice.

I have it paired with a 12700 and I’m having nothing but issues low GPU usage going from 99% to 40% 180 watts to 100 watts or lower can’t figure out the issue.

Im probably late and u mostlikely already made a decision and bought the parts, but Simply enough, if a CPU is powerful enough to support the cpu heavy games, its definetly gonna carry in the gpu heavy ones as well

You should get a 7600x or 7600, they will both perform near identical to the 7700x

I got a 7700x because microcenter had a deal on a motherboard combo. I saved 80 dollars going from 7600x to 7700x

Have this combo. Basically at 1080, yes that is bottlenecked and even worse if you play overwatch in low settings and even at 1440p that is bottlenecked if on low settings. It would take a 13900k to make that balanced in 1080. BUT, heres the big but , your gonna hit way more fps than your monitor can handle and i dont think youll have any stuttering issues. Bottomline, dont worry about it.

U should go with 6700xt then the 4060

On 1080p it runs buttery smooth. Like, often never dipped below 150fps in any game. But i recently also uppgraded to 1440p. Runs buttery smooth there aswell. So you should prob be good.
