The Spanish word "date" (daw-teh) means "give yourself" and in some regions, it's used to say "go ahead" or "help yourself". Dates are common in my area, so with may friends, we say in Spanish "date un dátil" (literally give yourself a date), in English "give yourself a date" and in Spanglish, "date un date" (give yourself a date) We're a little bit crazy 😆🙃😄

Also, most dermatologist say, that drinking water can help contribute to internal organs, so indirectly helps but not directly. I've heard that from numerous dermatologist, so water being the fix all is not true. Genetics play a part, but a separate skin care routine is necessary.

Nice! I wish blue berries were not so expensive, but if you’ve ever picked them yourself, you can understand why harvesting is expensive. Also, I do find that those who are the most spiteful about Americans are those who do not associate with professionals or read academic papers. Prior to Brexit, every time I switched the television on, someone appeared to be telling me that all Americans were working class and all British people were Stephen Fry. That illusion does seem to be somewhat more difficult to sustain currently.

Thank you Dr Bunting! Again, need a motivational video like this in times of my crazy cravings of sweet/salty and spicy food. Hahaha. Mind games, no joke at all. I am only on my 3rd day of healthy planned meals. Breakfast and dinner with only apple (with the skin on) and beetroot. Like today, I squeezed half of a lemon into the blender for lemony zesty taste. I am actually looking forward for Lunch when I will have one satisfying meal per day; one portion of protein (chicken/eggs/mutton/fish/prawn), two portion of veggies (greens and carrots) and half cup of rice. Alternately, I plan to replace rice with pasta or vermicelli ( we call it 'bihun' in my country). Just for lunch anyway!! Hoping to lose some reasonable body weight in months to come. I need to lose half of my current body weight. Yess! I am that heavy. And yesss, I tried to eat and exercise but never longer than 6 months and opps I gained back the unwanted weight but I will never stop trying and set better and more realistic goal each time. That is my plan for sure. To eat and live better. I wish you good good health as well Doc. Greetings, from Malaysia (the land of food odyssey) 😊

To make that already great diet even better, add liver and sardines. (Organ meats, cold water fatty fish, for retinol - the bioavailable vitamin A - and good omega 3, respectively). I agree these are not very easy to eat; what makes it easier for me is eating it with a food I consider a treat, like pasta with the best tasting spaghetti sauce. Oh, don’t forget about egg yolks!!

There are many others as Well? Correct? I eat lots of red bell peppers, spinach, kale, walnuts. Are these also good for skin health. I also eat oats, sprouted grain breads. Many of the others you've already mentioned. The grains help me recover from excessive exercise. It's my job. I'm fitness instructor, need to heel. One question about proteins? I eat lots of lean chicken breast plain greek yougurts and also eggs. I use to only eat the whites of the eggs. Now been adding in a yolk a day. Is this better? I've read that most of the good stuff for skin and health is actually in the yolk? Thank you😊

Great video, thank you for sharing with us. I’ve been following you and try to incorporate your knowledge and expertise of better skin care into my life. It’s hard to ask all these questions in my dermatologist’s office so the time you take is so beneficial to me. I was so excited to see you and Dr Dray in my area. I’m an hour away in beautiful Virginia, where apple orchards are plenty and the mountains are a retreat from the busy life!

Having struggled with an ED myself, I recently found myself looking at dr Dray and liking how she looked. Thankfully, others have opened my eyes and see the reality of a disturbed woman who is unhealthy and uses fillers not to look emaciated. It's sad to see her deteriorate like that. We are about the same age, I could have easily ended up like her. She exposes her pro ana life style to a young youtube audience. Which is harmfull! I would have loved her 10 years ago. Now I hate her for trying to pull me into her lifestyle

She needs to be removed from KZfaq for influencing young viewers toward an unhealthy lifestyle under the pretense of being a doctor and knowing a healthy lifestyle. It's baffling how a doctor could do that.

DayByDay48 i don’t know but yes it is so very sad that people think since she has an extreme knowledge of dermatology and she does that she’s an expert on health and eating also when so many can see that she is sickly but cannot comment because she deletes all negative comments on her channel

Agreed. Dray sets a bad example for people and seriously needs an intervention. The fact she even goes so far as to delete any comments or block people , even innocent ones or to correct a mistake she’s made shows she is very disturbed.

Yes! What is it with Greek people and your smooth, supple skin? I’ve often wondered if it’s the fresh produce and fatty acids in oils that you consume, which were demonised some time ago, but which we now know to be beneficial.

Carrots are a root vegetable and actually contain a fair but of sugar, which is absorbed into the liver, in fact all fruit contains fructose when eaten enough or too much can caused the liver to turn fatty, effecting its efficiency to metabolism toxins having a direct impact of the skin. Usually those with a healthy liver have healthy skin and the way to achieve that is to reduce sugar (including fructose) intake to no more than 3 portions per week. This list in this video has too much fruit although I do advocate the consumption of blue berries if your to eat any fruit. The key for healthy skin is to greatly reduce your sugars and instead eat vegetables, fish, red meat, drink water, avoid drinking alcohol, avoid dairy. You need to really have a high vegetable, high protein, high fat, with good whole carbs (not wheat bread) diet. Start with eating less sugar.
