Given that in a 45 year reign Elizabeth didn't find time to build her father a decent tomb speaks volumes of what daughter really felt about dear ole Dad.

Lol it should have been built during Edward's time. Fat chance Mary and Elizabeth would have done so given how they were treated when he was alive.

I think it just wasn’t important. And as said before, it wasn’t her responsibility. I wouldn’t be likely to build a monument for the guy who killed my Mother.

@@swimnwfishes If it wasn't his daughter the Queen of England's responsibility then whose was it? Usually it is very important to stress the continuity of the Tudor dynasty. Henry VII has a magnificent tomb as does Elizabeth herself. Yet Henry VIII was thrown in a cubby hole so small without even a name plate he was "lost " for many years.As I said Speaks volumes.

She wasn’t the one responsible for that when her father died. Neither Edward or Mary bothered either. Considering it was the resting place for both his mother and his father you would think Edward would do more than anyone. He didn’t. All preparations for Henry tomb was sold by Edward Seymour.

and she also worked with nobles and writers to create Shakespeare. The play Richard III was deliberate attempt to legitimize the Tudors and defame Richard. Elizabeth was a master of PR and manipulating public opinion

Shakespeare wasn’t that far from the truth. Those boys disappeared on Richard watch. Their maybe some exaggerations but the discovery of Richard body proved that Shakespeare wasn’t making much up either. It is modern writers that are trying to rewrite history

Why does the video state that Queen Anne wore an 'A' pendant? Anne Boleyn, as far as I have ever seen or heard, had a necklace with a 'B' pendant for Boleyn. However, their is no evidence that Elizabeth ever wore this necklace, or at least not the pendant itself. I have heard theorizes that Elizabeth may have worn the set of pearls that the 'B' pendant was originally set with, but there is no evidence to prove this for certain.
