One of my favorite lines, "Okay, so for me...I've only ever been married once. Uhm, and it was in my dream" Haha

I loved this conversation. It would be great to also have the perspective of a Christian single mother in this conversation. In my experience, the church often pretends that this demographic doesn’t exist.

Being single is a harder struggle than being married in terms of sex, intimacy, and passion. You have to constantly wrestle with the fleshly desire to be intimate with another human being. It’s hard! Also, Marriage is desired because you have a partnership in this life. There is a reason why the word says two is better than one. We always tend to compare singleness to bad marriages when we are trying to justify singleness as not being so bad. But what about good healthy Christ lead marriage? I desire that more than I’d ever desire to be single.

You have to be called be Single... Pray ask Lord keep you.. Yea....there are challenges.. What help. . Surround yourself with Presence of Lord... I shut out Married folks talk... If you don't have strong mental constitution in that arena... My family don't understand my Singleness.. That what God has called me to... Be careful what you watch through eye gate... Busy with Father's Business for Lord... Entrepreneur business or missions.... My friends and family have to text me and call to catch up with me,,😇❤️❤️😂😳😂🩰🎶😊👑 I always say about myself to others .. " You don't need a King to be a Queen 👑" Only King I need is My King 👑 KING LORD JESUS CHRIST

This was really great! Thank all you ladies for sharing your perspectives! One take away for me was not making assumptions about people’s availability. I have a few married friends who only want to hang out when their husbands are busy which I found really hurtful, especially when they spend the whole time you are together texting their spouse or only talking about them. But y’all encouraged me to look for those who are willing to sacrifice time with others to spend with me just as I do for them! Thanks again!

Thank you for watching Sarah! Agreed, I think it’s so important on both sides - if you’re single or married not to assume about one another’s schedules and just have a conversation. It’s been an interesting past year to say the least, I hope you’re able to find those friends that you can have meaningful community with. 🤎

This was great! Appreciated the balanced perspectives and it inspired me to create goals in my "time of waiting." I also strongly agree with the idea of married club vs the singles club. Why can't we mingle?! It's like your single friends think your married friends suddenly forgot how to have fun. haha

Great conversation ladies! There is soo much you realize once you’re deep within marriage that won’t be realized until you’re actually in it. But there’s s something so beautiful about both partners making the choice to learn and understand not only your spouse but yourselves each and everyday through the good and rough times through Gods guidance.

Thank you for watching Marie and also for sharing your perspective. I agree, it’s funny looking back to see even how much each of us has grown since then. It’s an everyday thing, praying and seeking to glorify God as we love each in humility.

I enjoyed this conversation. I can especially relate to Gertrude (I hope I have her name right). I too started a nonprofit and love the vision I have for social issues. I also think about this and how it relates to future relationships--or a future of singleness. Gertrude spoke my viewpoints so well.

Thanks for watching Ravin. I think that was a huge part of why I loved this convo - there were so many voices and different perspectives represented. It’s Berthrude, but you’re right, it does sound like you both have a lot in common.

Church has to accept what God spoke through Apostle Paul... God gives Gift 🎁 of Singleness to some and 🎁 of Marriage to others... Church glorify Marriage to much... Not enough about Benefits of being Single... Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was Single and Bachelor before the term Bachelor was accepted in Jewish Culture... I'm 52 years old Single woman in Christ... I'm having a Best time of my life in Christ... Free!!! There is alot consider when you are married... Even Paul and Jesus said " It's Better that you Don't Marry: everyone cannot receive it... Say they to whom it is given... St. Matthew 19 1 Corinthians 6-7 Marriage exposure of more of who and what you're not... Marriage is not cure all...
