Those look way better then the older ones, those I could see someone keep using for a while after they are out of the military.

I was an optician for many years before I retired in 2019. Yeah those glasses are far better than what they used to require being worn. Those glasses really were birth control glasses. Those glasses aren't real elegant but just a nice simple basic black plastic frame. I'm sure that your lenses are polycarbonate to protect your eyes better in case anything were to hit your lenses. You're probably not going like what I have to say but i'm going to say it anyway. I don't think anyone with eyesight worse than 20/40, which is the same requirement for driving, should ever be sent into battle. No insult intended, but as an optician I can see by looking at\, and through, your lenses that your in the moderate range of being nearsighted and considerably worse than 20/40. If you were in the infantry and your to get knocked off you would be unable to see well enough to shoot at the enemy without your glasses. I'm not saying you shouldn't be allowed in the service and certainly not because you're a woman. I have a friend that worked at local sports bar, much like Hooter's and she was excited about joining the Air Force and determined to be a fighter pilot. After she went to get signed up and she took her physical she was rejected from flight training because her eyesight wasn't perfect. She didn't even know that she needed glasses when she went in. She switched to being a translator instead. She wasn't going in for several months for basic training so I had her come in to where I worked so she could get glasses as long as she needed them anyway. Her prescription was only -.50 / -.75 so very weak. Just not perfect. She was glad that a pair of glasses from our shop because she did get the "birth control" glasses when she started basic training. On her off tie she was allowed to wear the glasses she got from me.
