@@andrewperry1987 ow so? it's dead easy to get birds showing up regularly and settling if they're immobile, particularly after a few days of being fed and seeing you're not a threat. Also, if you mean his trades, maybe it is jobs on his own or family/friends' properties, but i don't see why a hobbyist woodworker/DIY'er would bother faking being a tradesperson on youtube when the hobbyist channels still do well and i've seen plenty of his projects completed in videos, so he clearly knows how to use tools.

Vincent is def at juvenile age just from the look of their feathers and cere(the bump at the base of the beak). That lad's not even 3 months old, thank you for taking some care for him. Sometimes I’ll see kids here kicking at them and their parents saying nothing. It’s a city, I know they can be a nuisance, but it doesn’t mean you should be cruel to them.

@@EoinReardonPigeons know their way back, it's what they're know for. Carrier pigeons only ever returned to their home, they never went somewhere new. Keep being good to Vincent, birds have very efficient brains, he'll understand the workshop is his home soon enough. Then you'll never get him to leave!

OMG, Silly Vincent! Just happened to stumble across one of your axe handle fits and I just love the personality and genuine care that you put into all of your videos. It's really hard to get "unscripted" content that attracts viewers recently but your videos just pull us all in. That market has so much life. I have never seen a market like that, we do have a lot of them here but that one seems to have found a nice unique spot. Bog Oak! what a unique material to be able to work with! I have read just a little bit about it and I honestly wouldn't even know what to do with a piece of it! it seems like such a legendary material to even find, I would love to hear more about how you obtained that piece. Been loving the content so far, good luck in the new shop, really looking forward to anything that you can share with us going forward!

Good video and nice editing. Also, have you considered putting the hinges to the door of your workshop on the other side of the doorframe. Would be a more natural step inside the shop because it always looks like you could fall off the edge 😂

At the moment there’s only a wooden frame on one side of the door. So at the meantime I can only hang the door from that side :( new door coming soon!

He will fly eventually if hes not injured but your doing a great job looking after him keep hi. Inside till he can fly and hell be just fine. He may even become a permanent resident as pigeons will hang about there home.

I like the green trailer. It's just the right size to double as a hand cart. Adding a retractable or removable cart handle that extends just past the hitch would make moving it by hand easier and more fun.

I lead a sort of make do and mend existence working with old tools (and some newer ones) and really enjoy seeing someone of your generation getting pleasure crafting useful items from natural materials using hand tools. If anyone is ever in east Texas, we have something in Canton, Tx, called "first Monday trade days" which is the worlds largest flea market. It happens once a month and is massive. I still haven't gone through it all and Ive been multiple times. It's very similar to the market the gentleman in the video went to. Always nice to see different variations of the same idea. You brought back some pleasant memories, I´m retired now, but after a day´s blacksmithing I would go home, down to the cellar, and turn some wood. I still have the fruit bowl, plates and spice jars I made in Yorkshire, and now, living in southern Spain I occasionally carve spoons from olive branches. I made everything except a pile of money -- there's a saying here, in the blacksmith's house, are wooden knives.
